Batman was in my dream last night.

Batman was in my dream last night
after a Chinese man lost his children like treasures in the ocean
the dark knight came
with Zac Efron
and other less instantly recognisable members of the cast of High School Musical
(though they were clearly Disney alumni
with their pearly white teeth
and flawless skin)

Batman tried to give them to the Chinese man
new treasures to replace those which had been lost
the Chinese man refused
and gnashed
and wailed
and wandered the coast screaming
words I couldn't understand

Batman was left to explain
that their beautiful American help
was unwanted
that they would have to peddle their dream elsewhere

Batman failed
and I woke up.

this poem could be really deep if you tried. i'm not sure if you mean to do so, or not, but i'm commenting because batman is that awesome and his new movie compels me to.

i think it could be trippy as hell if you illustrated it. word. batman.
