Basic HEROIN Culture Questions

was at the quik chek and peeped a jersey journal the other night
what does the media label oh yea a heroin drug ring got busted
they was just moving a key
or two in jersey city
 
In the UK, we also rarely call Heroin,heroin.

"B" (meaning either 'bags' or 'brown')
"Brown"
"Dark"
"Gear"

Are by far the most common.

Hey guys,
I'm half-american, half brit living in Beijing China. When we cop H we gen just get these translucent little ziplocks with either a gram or half gram in them. Alternatively, we sometimes just get normal paper wraps with either FH (Full H) or HH (Half H..indicating quantity, not content) handwritten on them. When you guys speak of a "bag" what quantity are you guys talking about? I ask because without knowing what a "bag" is I have no means of comparison. Best, BK in BJ.
 
^In the UK, a "Bag" or a "B" is basically the smallest amount of smack you can buy.

It is basically a wrap made out of a cigarette paper, and generally contains 0.15 - 0.20 grams (normaly somewhere in between)

In philly the dealers put the dope in a blue stamp bag, fold it up a couple times into a square, then put it into a clear glassine plastic baggy thingy and seal it up so people cant fuck with it. Idk what a fold is.
 
A "Bag" in NYC, is a glassine envelope, the kind used by stamp collectors. These little wax paper envelopes usually have 100 mgs. Of adulterated heroin (usually 20 to 30% pure), #4 (almost always Colombian for the last several years).


Bags cost $$$ US per, sold individually. You can also buy 10 bags, in what is called a "Bundle." These are usually discounted by 20 to 30% off retail.

10 Bundles make 1 "Brick," which can be further discounted for a total of 50% off retail.

IF you simply cross into New Jersey a "Brick" is no longer 10 Bundles. Instead 5 Bundles make a "Jersey Brick."

IF you move south, to Camden, Atlantic City, and across into Philadeplhia in Pennsylvania, a "Bundle" becomes 13 bags.

When you hit southern Deleware it changes completely to Baltimore standards. In Baltimore they sell glassines, vials and a couple of other ways. They have "Scramble," and "P-Dope" which are supposed to be terms describing quality (P-Dope being purer), etc.

Until Baltimore almost all bags will have a "Stamp" on it, denoting a "Brand." They are usually topical "Bin Laden," or tongue in cheek adverts like, "Dirty Urine" or "DOA."

In San Diego heroin is called stuff, chiva, chai, or dope. Some people, especially newer addicts call it heroin or H. Sometimes see dope plastic wrapped in ballons. Dimes are usually shit quality and quantity and sold to new users. Others buy quarters, halfs, grams. Break on 3 gram purchase. Used to hear people refer to quater grams as "quaditos" which means little quarters litterally. Usually come wrapped in pieces of plastic grocery bags burnt closed.

Back when I first started coping, we had a couple of different connects in Cincy. We'd make the drive up from Lex and buy by the (half) gram. It appeard to be compacted east coast light tan/brown powder and it was usually wrapped up in cut up porno mags or some other sort of cardboard stock. "Dogfood" was the codeword most often used, but occasionally boy was substituted.

During my other major stint with H, i was living in NC and it was packaged just like i hear the NYC/Jerz bags/bundles are packaged. It ranged anywhere from light tan to dark brown, folded up in the wax bags. Usually just called 'em "bags" and "buns" and "bricks"
A bag was supposed to be .1 grams, thus a bundle (10 bags) was 1.0 grams total.
 
wait, so in New York a brick is 10 bundles (100 bags) and in New Jersey a brick is 5 bundles (50 bags) ??? Just curious as i live in Cali and have only ever heard of 5 bundle bricks here on bluelight and from people I met in rehab from the east coast.
 
Yes, a NYC "Brick" is 10 "Bundles," NJ is 5 "Bundles. That only came about in the mid-90s with the innundation of the cheaper Colombian heroin. When it was nostly SE Asian (Golden Triangle) it was uniformly 10 Bundled Bricks.

NC, often, gets it directly from the NE. When I was in prison in NJ I literally could not count the I-95 Fools as we used to call them. At that time you could make 8 X what you paid on a retail priced bag, even without discounts, simply be moving it from NY down to the Carolinas in 10 hours.

Today I am sure it is much more diversified down there. Heavy trade in Florida, Atlanta, even Tar in Tennessee not to mention Baltimore.

Yea I aint hit that shit in a little under a year but Im thinkn of grabbin a 5 piece to enjoy with my shot one of these days, summer time always bring out the side of me that enjoys the base
 
Never heard of boy or dog food. For me it's dope, diesel, or H. For some strange reason though, shortly after I moved to Florida last fall, I asked my weed guy if he had any H. He said yeah and asked me how much. I told him a gram. So I meet him and he hands my this little bag, I look at it and was like "dude, this is crack, I don't want this" he says I thought that's what you wanted, didn't you ask for H? I just bought a $20 of weed and was on my was home to get stoned. What I want to know is, in what world does H=crack? I have never heard of that before or again and can't imagine why anyone would ever call it that, any ideas?
 
AFAIK a bundle is 12 bags here. Until I figured this out I thought dealers figured I was an idiot, and wondered how in the world they'd charge 10 a bag and 120 for 10 bags

I have yet to find anyone who discounts by the bundle here(philly)

NYC heads (and everybody else for that matter) be careful. I think we all can agree that this time of year typically brings out the most potent of stamps. Not sure if this is a case of that and since no stamp name is listed in the article we may never find out, but with all this talk of chasing down the strongest shit, it doesn't hurt to ask yourself if you're sure you know what you're about to get into.

what's the illest stamp names anyones ever gotten.I think either trouble paradise or devils candy are the best named stampes i ever got. BTW funny oberservation on the dickhead and beat ir bags Lacey..
