Hate to tell ya, but people are going to do what they are going to do and there is little you can do about it. Thats something I had to learn when I thought my estranged ex who I still cared for his well being was likely back on meth.
At least if they are BLers, they KINDA know what hole they are digging into, more than Joe Blow on the street. Plus we will be here to pick them back up if they fall...

Book is better, all in Scottish dialect. Everytime I read I start speaking in a really bad fake Scottish accent haha.

I usually park away from the good dope spots and meet a fellow junkie on the way. I'm white so I try to team up with another white person close to my age to lessen the suspicion of course. I usually leave out the car part as well especially if I don't get a good "feel" about the person. Usually we team up and just walk to the spot together and part ways. I say I have to go catch a bus to work and be off afterwards. I wouldn't let a dirty stinky person who doesnt even take care of himself in my car or associate myself with someone like that. Just use common sense when trying this method, if someone comes up and asks if you're copping and you don't want to associate with the person, say no man and keep walking.

Yeah once I went to shooting it progressed fast to everyday use. I refuse to snort anything anymore. Snorting anything makes me gag and instantly throw up and I cant stand the drip. Thinkin back on all those dirty cuts that mustve went up my nose also makes me cringe. At least with shooting most of the cut can be filtered out.
 
cant believe i read like 5 pages and still havent seen H being called montaga. in the Roc (rochester ny) its called that plus boy like i seen one other poster from the roc say. but we have lots of puerto rican dealers and its known as montaga. perico=coke

When i would get really really cheap 80's after a while i couldnt blow them anymore. Just the smell made me gag and the tiniest line would have me tryin not to puke so hard.

it been said, u musta missed it....n thats manteca not montaga . perico means parrot. part of the 'tres animales' mi pedico mi gallo y mi chiva. my parrot my rooster and my goat, cocaine weed and heroin. u dont hear chiva much or at all ecept on the west coast tho;

Its rare to hear chiva or manteca where I've copped too. Seems like for about a month everyone called it that and then it reverted back to negra.

Of course I like a dealer who says, " What do you need." and you can just say "Heroin." that way you don't have to skirt around the bullshit.

The Spanish guys around here call in manteca. Otherwise I just 'bags' or 'diesel'.
 
In LA, especially downtown and southwards, heroin is most commonly known as chiva on the street. From my experience, chiva has been the most used term when referring to dope around here. From what I hear, its used all over the west. I'd say black and negra comes in second.
 
"Black" is probably the most common out west. Sometimes you run across mexicans that just got here and they can't speak English so I would say "chiva". Kinda sucks dealin with someone who's only English words are: "how much the money?" I definetlly preferr my area though. Powder instead of tar. Fuckin tar fucks up your veins quickl like. You have to cook it longer and all kinds of wierd shit floatin around in it. I've ran into alll of people who've never seen powder too. That would suck. I love in a good area. Westside is the best side.

haha.........I used to feel like such a feen when I would go in the little convenience store once a week to buy baking soda, chore boy, 2 mini-roses and 2 lighters. I'm SO glad that habit's behind me.
