yeah its mostly an east coast thing ... you can prob find powder a TON of other places just probably not in name brand stamps,

Smoking East Coast Dope

So ive got a quick question that ive wondered about for awhile. I probably should post this as a new thread in OD, but I see several people in this thread discussing this very subject so i figured id ask it here.

Ive seen several people here talking about smoking (chasing the dragon) east coast powder. Ive long thought (and seen it posted here on BL many times) that East coast dope cannot be smoked effectively unless it is mixed with caffeine. I have at least one friend here on BL who has been using east coast dope heavily for many years and DEFINITELY knows his stuff. For many years he has smoked his east coast, tan powder and assures me that it is VERY effective. He goes as far as to say that he essentially gets just as high smoking his dope as he does when shooting it, when using the same amount of dope either way. People on BL always say that though you can probably get SOME effects from smoking east coast dope, a GREAT deal of it is burned off and wasted, unless you mix it with caffeine. The reports of my friend, as well as other people who have tried smoking east coast, suggest that very little, if any is wasted, considering the fact that they get nearly identical effects from a bag whether it is smoked or Iv'ed.
So does anyone have any light to shed on this apparent contradiction? It seems that in THEORY, smoking east coast powder is extremely ineffective, however in practice, those who have actually experimented with smoking it, find it to be almost as effective as IV. Anyway, just curious- thanks.
 
I'm interested in learning how to smoke the powder as well. Snorting just isn't working anymore since once i snort one line I either sneeze it back out or my nose gets clogged for an hour or more afterwards. I rather not shoot as well, so would like to know 1. how to do it and 2. is it effective?
 
^Smoking is the least effective way to consume heroin. Smoking - Snorting - IVing. It is the most difficult way to OD however...

I don't know how you would smoke powder.... have only ever had access to black tar which I've only smoked, wish I had access to powder...

Why would you post information that is not true and present it as a fact? It is misleading to say shit like that when its dead-azz wrong and then people read it and think its true, and you are the one responsible for spreadin misinformation, which is exactly the OPPOSITE of wat we do here on BL. the idea is to educate people about the facts, not make up your own version of the facts that clearly shows you aint got much knowledge of the truth, and then act like its true.

For somebody named after a famous heroin addict you seem to not have a very good understanding of heroin or the way its made.

Your statement is wrong in a few ways.

First of all the color of the dope aint got shit to do with the purity unless you are referring to #3 vs #4 dope, where the #3 is the caffeine-added, darker brown powder that is smokeable in its base form, which is used in the UK.

We dont even GET #3 in the US, so its irrelevant if youre referrin to heroin in the states. All the powder heroin on the east coast is #4 heroin. it ranges in color from light brown/tan color to white and gray. And the color dont indicate the purity wat so ever. You cannot judge the quality of RETAIL, STREET LEVEL heroin, by lookin at the color. period.

While it is true that the most finely processed heroin which comes from the golden triangle (southeast asian dope) the processing and cleaning eventually brings it to a pure white color, and in its UN CUT form directly from a high level source the purest dope is white, that dont have nothing to do with the shit on the street. And i know you aint gettin no uncut shit off the boat, so we aint gonna talk about that since none of us is getting that.

When you get shit on the street its cut with all kind of different things some adds color some dont, some lighten the color, some makes it browner, a lot of shit happens to it. Once its stepped on and brought to you, the color could be shit brown or snow white and neither one of them indicates a better or worse quality or purity level.

The majority of american east coast powder is from South America, not SE Asia. The south americans in general do not put as much final "finishing touches" in the processing of their dope and it usually aint cleaned to the point of almost perfection that the asians generally use. it is still high purity usually only a small percentage away from the quality of the SE asian product, but may not be white because alot of the time they want to get it out and moving and dont want to take the last steps to fully wash it and have that white color. It is still the same product its just a less white color.

Maybe you are thinking of black tar heroin compared to powder, in that case yes powder is better, but not all powder is white so that wouldnt make no sense. The only conclusion i can figure out is that you straight up pulled some shit outta your ass and posted it here becuz even giving the benefit of the doubt i still cant understand where your reasoning is comin from.

And finally, for the record .....Diamorphine IS heroin. I have no idea wat you think you are telling people by informing them that "brown heroin is diamorphine and white heroin is purer" because ALL heroin is diamorphine.

So, Ima suggest that next time you attempt to make a large, generalized statement about somethin you are totally ignorant on, you look at even a little bit of actual correct facts before you make a fool outta yourself and misinform people who might not know better than to believe the way-off-base shit you say.

ive copped from south beach fla to p-town jerz. ive walked tall in some of the ruffest and tuffest pj's on the east coast (i must say that tampa was prolly the scurriest. like a maze with one way in and one way out. scurry) and found out that everybody knows what H is when you ask for it. dope, boy and diesel also apply. although, this one time down south i asked this dumb fucker for everything. boy, h, smack, deisel and he just looked at me like i was the retarded one. finally, i came out and said "DO YOU HAVE ANY HEROIN FOR SALE!!!". his reply was "wat da fuk, u a cop or sumptin?" i come to find out that they call it "blows" in that small corner of s. fla.
 
How do needle exchnages work? I need a needle so can i just go in and ask for one or do i need to bring a used needle, which i do not have, to get a clean one?
 
^^ from my experience, your first time in you can show up empty handed and they will give you 10 new rigs and some other goodies. some caps. some cotten filters. a turnakit (sp). alcohol swabs and some useful info. they even gave me a card saying that i was allowed to carry needles. but, if you bring used rigs they will usually double your return. re: if you go back w/ the 10 they gave you then you will leave w/ 20, ect. at least thats how they do it in pitt.

That is also what we call it here in chicago.

They know what you are saying if you say H, but if you say dope, you might get rocks instead. I don't think they would know boy or diesel, but that is just because I never really hear it used around here anyway.

Interesting info about the needle exchange...I always wondered how those worked.
 
hahaha. i read somewhere in here that up in cleveland they call it dog food. that shit is funny to me. i always thought that it was supposed to be a one syllable word easily muttered to passer bys. im jus picturing bubba on the set yelling "i got dog food hurr, dog food over hurr." hahaha. that shit is funny.
 
Boy sounds retarded... around here it's generally referred to as dope for the most part. Sometimes I'll say H.
