Basic HEROIN Culture Questions

i dont know why every country doesnt have those. people are gonna use, regardless of the laws, at least provide clean needles to them.

I think the worst is when it just comes in the tiny baggie, not wrapped. Lots of powder sticks to that, and it can be hard to open the tiny ziplock without poofing some powder out.

When I would get it like this, I used to save the bags and when I was desperate would try to scrape what I could out of the corners and sides.

fo real foil is the best if you dont want powders to stick
those baggies are absolute helllll for stuff like mdpv or h!!

i haven't heard it called 'boy' in years
black tar is about all you get here
it comes in chunks wrapped in plastic wrap and then put into a balloon
sometimes it is a little gummy sometimes it is very crystalline and clear dark brown and hard
you can always stick it in the coffee grinder with some lactose if you want powder - LOL

about the not getting shot just driving through the hood post....
on lankershim in LA my bf and i were once fighting and i got out of the car on the street. he drove down the street aways and i heard gunshots and he came back driving very fast and said "get in now". someone had just taken a shot at him.
who knows why - but it could have been someone who saw us fighting and yelling and didn't like the idea of us making a fuss in the area....
but it does/can happen.
but usually people have a reason to shoot someone - unless it is little kids shooting and they miss what they are shooting at and just happen to hit you.... that happens too

When I started in the mid 90s, Newark was chock full of open-air drug markets. Once the dealers knew you, they would literally attack your car before you could even stop. You'd have 4-6 or more guys run to your window and ask you what you want. That was also before everyone in the world carried a cellphone.

Nowadays, in Newark/Irv anyway, there aren't as many dealers just hangin out in the open. Don't get me wrong there's still mad dudes out there doing their thing just a big decrease from the scene in the 90s. Part of it is the increased heat from the boys in blue but the advent of cellphones also plays a major role. Dudes are quick to hand off their #s where they used to hesitate. Guess they feel its aight since most be changin their #s every few weeks/months anyway it seems.

Wonderin' how it works in other cities and if my other Newark BL'ers see the samething I do.

I cop in Jersey City mostly, Newark occasionally. I got a main spot in JC (certain projects). I used to roll up cold and just cop from whoever was there. That place was in business 24/7 365 days of the year. 4 am? No problem. But anyway, I met a few dudes. Met some other guys through them. I usually call ahead now to one of my connects. I got a main connect and a backup. If not, I hit the projects. I usually like the idea of a definite score and it's cheaper when I call one of my connects. And I can buy bulk no problem. Also don't have to meet them in the projects and run the risk of getting seen by cops. But if all else fails, no problem driving in cold. It's Jersey for Christ's Sake.
 
For sure. I always have and always plan to get a phone number and call ahead.

I hate it when you call ahead though and then when you get down there the guy still is late/takes forever. It's like, I called you 45 minutes ago and told you I'd be down in 45 minutes so that you'd have 45 minutes to get ready and then be on time to meet me!

Drug dealer time sucks. My old dude was awesome, but was the WORST with drug dealer time. Basically with him it was like this:

5 mins = 15 mins
20 mins = 45 mins
1 hour = 2 - 2 1/2 hours+

Fucking terrible.

I don't like waiting 25 mins when you said 10 fucking minutes.
 
haha...its nice when you figure out what time they really mean when they say such and such a time, then you can gauge about when they will really be around. i dont know why they cant just say the real time instead of their DDT, but things do come up and most of the time theyre busy.

also, dealing w/ time, i hate how every bar is at least 15 mins ahead of what time it really is.
 
I'm from South Carolina all they do around here is wrap the heroin in cellopane or the cellopane off cigarette packs we don't get the fancy stamp bags. :(
 
Its ok in California we get tar thats usually just chopped off the brick and bagged in a corner of a shopping bag.

If someones talking about a balloon they are talking about tar Heroin. And it being packaged in a balloon is probley the best thing for it to be in when your carrieing it. That is how most people carry it when they are traveling around with it so it can be swallowed and still be fine because it is totally sealed, and yes it is just tied of in a little water balloon. It is not meant to be used more than once, its just meant to move it one time and then rip it open and use it.

Also, another good/bad thing abuot it being packaged in a balloon is that it is easey to tell if its tampered with, unless you have more of the same type of balloons to rewrap it in. I dont know how people travel around with a big stack of heroin stamps on the east coast, but over here some one will just spit them out and then you just wipe them on your shirt or if you can wash them off if you have alot and then just put them in your mouth for how ever long needed.

Iv seen stuff come in balloons with the ends rolled up(retarted) and in pieces of shopping bag, corners of plastic bags, pretty much any thing. The best dope has always come in a square piece of plastic bag(like a vegatable bag), then wraped in little square of tin foil, and then in a little water balloon with the end tied off and cut off. You could swallow this and puke it up or even wait for it to come out the other end and you and you dope would still be fine when you got your hands on it.

Can't speak for other areas, but in Philly dealers don't walk around with a ton of dope on them. Most keep a few stamps on them or a few bundles near them; either in their car or hidden in street rubbish like a cigarette pack or can of soda. The idea being that you don't have anything on you when the cops roll by, which they do every half or so hour. Also, if you get busted with something, the amount of lost product isn't much.

As for keeping balloons in their mouth, I'd be afraid to use that dope. There is plenty of bacteria in your mouth, that if you shot, could get you quite sick.
 
If any of you saw Steve Adler on Celebrity Rehab Sober House last week... can you tell me why he was so weirdly hyper and jumping around after doing heroin? I thought it chilled you out.
 
^ I'm not sure what part you are talking about, but did you see him before he got arrested where he was nodding out standing up and couldn't figure out where he was? That's more like a hard-core dope high. But, I mean HARD-CORE.

I've rarely been that high.

It tends to affect people in different ways. Some get stimulated, while others just nod out.

Personally I find it stimulating, regardless of the dose or how I take it. The only time I nod out is if I'm extremely tired(and even then it's at the tail end of the high), or if I'm mixing it with benzo's. I think the stimulating effect is one reason why I became addicted to it in the past.
 
^ I get stimulated in a different way.

I'm definitely feel motivated and like I can get stuff done, am a little more likely to be sociable.

I also may nod, but definitely can't sleep regularly if the dope is good.
