lol one of my ex's is a sg. i'm not a fan. "alternative beauty" is still playing the same superficial game imo. they redefine nothing.

/being a spoilsport. sorry.

yes keep the bargains coming!

today there is a horseriding discount on cudo (for the aussies)

my friend recently got her photos/portfolio accepted by sg and i think it's going up for voting soon. not really sure what the whole story is, but she's pretty die hard about it. ive seen her photos for the portfolio, theyre not too bad but none of the photos really look like her :(

awww I miss my horse. I had to put her to sleep she was old. :*(

I am sorry to hear that, we have a few work horses we had to put dow, a coupl died during the night. it is really sad. when the school bus could not get through we had the girls to get us in over the hills, teacher hated us lol.

as for bargains well, I got two in one week. First was a pup who has been abandoned, all good triats for a good working dog, plus, friendly for a bargain of £50 from a rescue home, wormed, tagged wow what a good deal. 2nd was a jacket I saw walking past a charity shop for £3 tags still on it, waterproof and windproof I have had a good week for bargains.
new pup was obviously the best deal, ok I now need to replace socks but hey she is gorgeous <3 :)

On the other side of the coin...

I normally save all my soda cans for those guys that come around looking in the trash cans etc - well the other day I had a bag of cans saved up for him, a portable TV, a telephone and a router.

It must have been on of his better collection days :)

I would love to spend a day with them though - what they do, where they go, listening to what people say to them etc. I actually made friends with a begger once - at first I thought she was the typical street bum but after a few weeks of seeing her is the same spot I started to speak with her, buying her a meal, cup of coffee and often sitting with her(in the street) having a chat. She was such a lovely and honest person, life had simply dealt her a rough deal and she was doing the best she could considering.

She made me realise that not everyone on the street was a junkie, liar, alcoholic or had mental problems etc !

think we all need to be reminded of this from time to time. :)
