Noone has said anything yet, but someone needs to, Opiates and benzodiazepines are an extreemly dangerous combination, codeine and valium may not show you this too much, but please god do NOT combine things like Oxycodone, hydrocodone, morphine, heroin, demerol, etc......the strong agonists, with benzos like xanax, valium, klonopin, ativan, midazolam, etc.......they can cause serious respiratory depression, and death, more easily than you think. Everyone remember Quicksilver? He took a benzo orally a few hours before injecting morphine, and he died as a result.
In the clinical setting, i have had opiates and benzos administered IV at the same time for the purpose of knocking me out for an endoscopy down my throat, mind you i was on life support for most of the time, and had a separate anesthesiologist next to me the whole time with drugs like narcan at bay, along with a lung machine. I seriously would not combine them on my own, i lost all consciousness within 20 seconds of the infusion, i wouldnt have had time to pull a needle out, in the case of a home user, no call for help possible.
Bottom line you are playing with death directly, watch your self

~The Recreational Pharmacist (Ketamike)
I have never belonged wholeheartedly to country or State, to my circle of friends or even to my own family...
Such isolation is sometimes bitter, but I do not regret being cut off from the understanding and sympathy of other men.
I lose something by it,to be sure, but I am compensated for it in being rendered independent of the customs,
opinions and prejudices of others, and am not tempted to rest my peace of mind upon such shifting foundations.
