Banging heroin?

I used to be addicted to heroin and I'm only asking this out of curiosity. But every time I used heroin, I'd only smoke it and occasionally snort. I used it for about a year. Nothing too serious. But anythways, I know that banging heroin is the best method to get the most out of it, but it's also more addictive right? How much more addictive is it? Would it be possible for a person to really only do it say on the weekends?
Again I'm only curious. I don't plan to use heroin again.

Slamming heroin is much more addictive than the other ROA's. I can't say exactly how much more addicting it is, but many people including myself get fixated on the needle itself and the whole process of shooting up dope. After you do it once, chances are you're going to do it again. It's never just once...

You asked if it would be possible to do it on weekends only? I gotta say, no most likely not. I've never seen anyone who was able to control their heroin addiction to just weekends.

I wish I would've never gone back to heroin personally, it's done nothing but bring me down on so many levels and yet, I keep doing it and keep obsessing over it. Be careful.

I know what you mean. I still think about heroin every day. I just wonder if I'd be where I am today if I'd have used a needle.

i chipped, or maintained a weekend habit, for a couple years. it did catch up to me eventually. you get hooked up and end up with more dope than intended, and you use three days straight, its over.

i definitely agree about getting addicted to the needle and the process of copping. its a reward system thing. you convince yourself you're getting something done when you try to cop, and you get fucked up as a reward.

Man you would be broke and sick. Ive never/will ever use H. But from knowing of and seeing people that do it, you see how bad it is. That's why I'll never be around it. Be safe man. Congrats on the sobriety.

Yeah, that's what happened to me. I had a dealer that charged so much. Found a new connect, and bought a gram for a cheap price. It was great quality too. I ended up doing around 2 grams a day which was a lot for me and that's where my addiction really kicked off.
I miss it a lot to be honest. I wish I could go back to using it recreationally without worrying about addiction but I know if I went back I'd be right where I started.

I'm already pretty broke, and as someone who has had a past of criminal activity I'd rather not try to finance an addiction.
