Hey all,

I just ordered some Bala Root powder, but there isn't very much information about it online. Is there a recommended dose for this stuff? Can I just toss and wash? Can I smoke it?

I searched online too and came up relatively empty handed. I recently bought some bala root powder too. So far I've been tossing and washing with little effect. I read somewhere that 10 grams is a good amount. The first time I tried I did 10 grams and it had a great effect. But I haven't achieved that since. I take kratom daily too so that may have amplified the experience. I take nothing else. I do smoke but I don't drink or take anything else. Yesterday I took 12 grams and another 6 after 2 hours. I felt pleasant, but not more as I was hoping. It killed my appetite and may have elevated my mood a bit, but didn't provide the jolt of energy I was hoping for. My last ditch effort is to try 20 grams today. I will do 10 grams, toss n wash with orange juice and another 10 grams an hour later. Since I use kratom twice daily, my experience will likely differ from any you'll have. But nevertheless, I'll report back on the experience. Let me know if you come across any info! I've not stopped looking, but as far as dosage goes, I've been surprised to find such a lack of.

Thanks for your info. I’m about to try it. I had no idea how much and found somewhere 4-6 grand but so far nada. I’ll try 10 grams. I to take kratom soo well see. I’ll be sure to share my experience.

interesting plant, i ordered some powder so i can report back.

i looked up vata disorder, which is what it is indicated for in ayurveda

"Signs of a Vata imbalance include: Dryness internally – bloat, gas, constipation, dehydration, weight loss. Dry and lightness of the mind – restlessness, dizziness, feeling ungrounded. Cold: poor circulation, muscle spasm or constriction, asthma, pain and aches, tightness. Roughness, especially skin and lips."

that's basically me, so i'm curious if it would help me.
