I take prescribed 70mg Vyvanze daily for the last two years.Recently I've been having bad shakes and increasing anxiety. I take two anti-psychotic medicines at night but they don't to seem have any affect.

I told my doctor and psychiatrist and they dismissed it as ''stress,'' and they wouldn't do anything except tell me to talk to my therapist about it.

I'm thinking about taking doxylamine in low doses in the morning to keep me slightly sedated and help the shaking, but it's not typically very healthy to mix stimulants and sedative like medicines, any suggestions????

You might wanna think about cutting down your amphetamine dose. How long have you had these symptoms? Tremor isn't usually a good sign. Anxiety is unfortunately common with strong stims even when previously well tolerated it can kind of build over time. Maybe switch to a different add med?

I once stole some chick i worked with's vyvanse and took 140mg and went to an mlb game, woke up the next felt super hung over and thought i had scored oxys but they ended up being lexapro which i snorted

oreocub, RDP89,has a point. At the very least, back off your dose, or flat out take a day or two off, and see how that works. Personally, I think that was a stupid reply from your doctors.
A common prescription with a stimulant ADD medicine, is a benzodiazepine like Klonopin. I'm not sure doxylamine is the best idea. You have to check for interactions.
I would go to the grocery store or health food store and grab some Valerian Root. That would probably be safer. You can find Valerian in capsules.

I took Vyvanse for a couple of years and gradually was bumped up by my doc to 70 mg dosage. I found the comedown horrible, worse than Adderall IR. I switched back to Adderall IR three months ago.

Vyvanse created wicked insomnia for me...also made me a bit dizzy, at times. Probably contributing factors were lack of sleep, food, hydration. Be careful and hope you feel better.

If antipsychotics aren't helping you should definitely reduce your vyvanase dosage first... amphetamine can certainly fuck with blood pressure and stress horomone levels.
