Heroin Bad Skin reaction after IV'ing heroin. Anyone?

Hey everyone. If this post is in the wrong place then let me know. Haven't been on here in a while. Anyway, I just shot a bag of dope and i got the normal "rush" that I usually do. BUT after about 2 minutes I started getting a really weird reaction (skin is red all over my body, tingling in hands for about 5 minutes, intense itching all over body, and wheezing for about 5 minutes or so when I inhaled and exhaled. I have never had a reaction like this and I have no idea what it could be. Its been about 30 minutes since I did the shot and the symptoms seem to be subsiding except for the red/itchy skin all over my body. Anyone ever experience this type of reaction after shooting heroin or have an idea what it could be? I'm assuming its from something the dope was cut with but I'm not sure. Any input would be great help. Thanks.
 
It may have been more codeine in the batch then usual...

Some batches cause bigger histamine releases than others for this reason.

Another reason is you could have bad cuts...

I was thinking maybe it could have been cut with b12 seeing that I got a similar reaction that one would get from taking a high dose of Niacin. Does that sound like a possibility?
 
Niacin is b3 but, i get what you are saying...

It could be. It is not uncommon. But it is even more not uncommon that you are allergic to something else that is used as a cut too.

All the symptoms are gone now so I'm not too worried about it anymore. I was just a little concerned because I've done heroin countess times and never had a reaction like that.
 
I got the all most the same reaction you did from the cutting agents. Mine was more localized to the injection site and arm. When I studied one of the other bags I could smell like a perfume from a face powder or something. I snorted half a bag to get the scent and got a full blown allergy attack. Itchy eyes, runny nose,yadda yadda..... After the 3dr injection I guess my system got used to it because it didn't happen again.
