Opioids Bad Itch

ok so i have been taking opiates for a while. Now and i have dealt with the itch for years. But it has recently gottin worse and i have read about using benadryl. I have the sray and i also have the pills i just wanted to kno if #1 the spray shit works and #2 how many of the pills whould i ake to control the itch thakns.ps: I take about 130 miligrams a day not to sure if that help at all
 
Try eating 25 or 50mg of the pills (if they are the little pink ones then that is 1 or 2 pills) about half an hour before you dose (you can eat them at the same time as your opiate dose if you prefer). Don't take too much (more than 4 at once) or you might feel uncomfortable or go to sleep.

The topical spray should work if you have itching in a specific place.
 
Cant help you, but I never get the itch, all my friends are jealous because there sitting there itching and I'm not. Doest matter how much oxy I do, I just never get the itch.
 
I love the Itch..!! The stronger the itch ..the more potent my opiate feels..!! I know I am not the only one who feels this way. ..or am I..??

You may be ;)

Personally I hate it with such a passion. But it only happens transiently, on certain batches of (usually) poor quality heroin. I don't itch from anything else, and strangely enough, superb heroin causes no itching whatsoever The body is such an anomaly :)

promethazine always worked for me, dimenhydrinate is also an acceptable substitute
 
I love the itch. Benadryl works a little but I have never found anything to get rid or even come close to getting rid of the itch.

The only time it really bothers me is after drinking a lot of poppy tea. My face gets so damn itchy I end up with red all around my eyes from itching my face.

+1...I love it as well. I love the way it feels when I go to rub my nose when I got the itch and it just feels half-ass numb when I rub. Only time it bothers me is when I'm driving and I have it just above my ankle in my sock.

To answer the OP, it's pretty much been said. I've never found anything to get rid of it and I don't mind not getting rid of it lol.
 
The only thing that will get rid of the itch for me is ice in a plastic bag applied to the itch for 10 - 15 minutes. It like freezes the nerve where it's numbs it. If I get the itch it will usually be on one or the other of my arms.

Most opiates cause a histamine release - antihistamines can lessen the strength of the effect. Completely different feeling than the rush. Do a high dose shot while on MM or Bup, you'll still get a histamine release (feels like pins&needles,can also makes you feel flush) but no euphoria.
Stangely enough, when I was sold fentanyl packaged as a regular stamp bag and OD'd, I don't remember any histamine release at all. I don't know if I just didn't notice it or what. Maybe because it's a full synthetic, I don't know. Anyone ever do a shot of it get a strong histamine release?
 
If you don't want to do too much Benadryl and "dirty" up the opiate high with a drowsy allergy pill, try Zyrtec (cetirizine) or Claritin (Loratadine) 10mg.

i dont feel like i've done a good shot unless i get those "pins and needles" but i usually don't itch, or maybe i don't notice it....idunno. but i never get that feeling when i full on OD.....but i almost always get them when i just like black out.
