Okay, so i just snorted one 30mg oxycodone pill for the first time the other day. It was my 1st experience with opiates EVER. But i diddnt feel euphoric, happy, or trippy. All it did was make me feel sick, dizzy, blur my vision, make my pupils tiny, and my hands shaky. I couldnt even stand or walk without feeling woozy. It also made my eye lids feel super heavy, but not in a sleepy kinda way. Is feeling bad like this normal for a first time oxycodone user? or did i take too much? plz help and explain

Oh you were high alright just a little too high.
For your first time trying opaites you wouldnt even need 30mg hydrocodone, so i would say halve your dose and you will feel fan fuckin tastic

I agree with all of this --- you took TOO much, I'm assuming you're female so probably not very large, 15mg, maybe even 10mg would have been a good place to start. Please read around on here so you know what the side effects are of drugs you plan to take before you take them.

As everyone has said, you took too much. With opiates, the best method if you're not sure is to start slow and work your way up. It can prevent bad things from happening such as in your case, getting sick, or worse, ODing. Next time try a half of a 30. Wait 45 minutes, if its not enough, then take the other half. Spacing it out helps. Opiates can be incredible! You just need to take the right amount.

A lot of females i know hate opiates and only ever get nauseous and dizzy from them. The first time i took a 30mg oxy i wasn't opiate naive at all (10 years on and off at low doses) but i had moments where i felt like i took too much. I was at a large casino, crowds of people all over, and i couldn't believe i actually felt uncomfortable from taking an opiate.

Honestly i would try to take 1/4th of that dose if i were you. I was an experienced user who weighed maybe 160 at the time, and i took it ORALLY and felt waves of "ohshitohshit i did too much" (to maintain in public, not OD) Roxys are a flash in the pan for me though, back then i could take a 7.5mg percocet orally and have a slight high for 4-5 hours whereas the 30mg Roxy was toast in like 3.

As others have said you took too much first time, taking too many opiates before you have any tolerance can be awful and possibly put you off them for life.

Also with opiates its such a fine line between feeling good and feeling not so good..

I nearly made that mistake some 15 months ago,i took what looked like a crumb of a white tablet that actually was close to 1mg Buprenorphine...the next 12-15 hours were hell,i very nearly took myself to the hospital i felt that bad.

Live and learn ;)

If i remember correctly it may of been one of the very first times i posted on bluelight and without the advice i received on here and wouldnt like to think what i would of done.

Thankyou Bluelight.

Ok, so i have looked and looked for the info. i need and couldn't find it. so, i thought i would just become a member and ask because seemingly you all know what you are talking about when it comes too drugs. i have been on suboxine for about 5 months now. Last night someone talked me into trying methamphetamine for the first time, note i am on my suboxine. I took it around 8:00 pm orally and it hit me around 9:00 pm. At first i was chill then all of the sudden i started having anxiety attacks,my heart racing didn't help at all, it actually freaked me out as well. My feelings felt off and on, i stayed depressed, my mind was a speedcar. It was a total living nightmare. Which i don't have a strong mind anyways...i didn't sleep at all and still feel alittle funny but not as extreme as it was. The reason i am posting this is because i have taken synthetic coke before and freaked out the exact sameway, i took suboxine after and my mindset changed,i felt much better mentally! i cant take any nerve pills because i will get kicked out of the clinic...will taking my suboxine make my mindset feel back too normal...or it will it just make it worse. I feel so weird...i didn't take alot AT ALL, literally like alittle smaller than a piece of corn....when will i feel normal again...PLEASE HELP!

someone please message me back and lemme know anything!

We need more information in regards to what exactly happened, what you took, exactly, etc.

If you're having a panic attack, I would seek medical attention if it doesn't go away on its own.

Methamphetamine is notorious for lasting forever and inducing anxiety. Drink lots of fruit juice, take a benzo if you have one handy, and try to wait it out.

If after 48 hours you are still tweaky you should see a doc.

Too much man too much..

30mg oxy is too much for a first time user. I remember when 15mg would make me sick as fuck... Now I need over 150mg to feel something. It sucks. Start low and keep your tolerance low you will be happier in the long run.

Wow.........30mg of oxy my first time might have put me in the hospital, no kidding! Take it easy & start with 10mgs.

^^^^^^

This! I have taken oxy off & on for over a year & I have not taken more than 20mgs in a sitting & have not gone over 40mgs in a day & this is after a year, off & on of course. Enjoy the low tolerance while it lasts, because it doesnt last if you start as high as you did. Stretch those mgs out as much as possible.

30mg is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much for someone with no tolerance. Should have started with 10 or 15mg.

^^^No guff Chet....I have a pretty severe dope habit I'd say,and I would feel an Oxy 30 if I slammed it right now!

as has been said infinity-times, 30mg oxy is too much for almost any(every?) person to take their 1st time.

that said, i've seen a bunch of people find their 1st couple times of opiates to be complete let-downs. in hindsight, i wish i were one of them and just gave up trying..
