Bad experience with Percs

One weekend, I had two percocets of 10/325 mg oxycodone/acetaminophen. I took both the percocets the one day and it felt really good, not having any problems and having a good high.

A couple days later I wanted more and instead of getting the percocets, I was given a generic brand called Endocet, same dosage. Shortly after taking one of the Endocets, I smoked some marijuana. Following the marijuana I smoked quite a few ciggarettes. What happened from here is what I don't understand. That night I was puking non-stop and had no idea what was wrong with me. Eventually I stopped puking when I got food in me, but it didn't feel good at all and it was an incentive for me to stop taking percocets (which I don't want).

Does anyone know what occured/happened to me that night? Was it mixing the Endocet with weed that caused me to puke a lot?
 
The generic shouldn't make you sick when the brand name didn't at the same dose. Perhaps the weed, although it generally helps nausea I have seen people get sick smoking especially mixed with other drugs. Or maybe it was unrelated to either drugs and you just were sick.
 
Endocets are just generic percocets, with 10mg of oxycodone and 325mg of apap. The percocets you took before were also probably generic. What is your tolerance like? Oxycodone can cause quite a bit of nausea in non-opiate tolerant individuals. Weed also seems to make the opiate high much more intense, which probably contributed to your increased high.
 
sounds like its a with drawl type symptoms....try eating before you take them...maybe dont smoke pot?.
 
did anyone notice that he said he smoked "quite a bit" of cigarettes also.

sometimes when I dose too high with my morphine, a cig can bring on some nausea for me. and I'm def no newb to shooting opiates of any type. but mostly morphine.

I think it could have something to do with the addition of herb and cigs.
 
It was prolly the ciggs that did you in. After you smoked your last cigg did you get likesay a hot flash/Sweats? A lot of people chainsmoke to hell on ops their first few times, dont notice it, and get sick. The herb most likely also worsened your smoke sickness.
 
Weed should help with nausea but tobacco can make it worse. Plus with any combo that could create the spins puking is common. Honest answer? You did too much at once on an empty stomach and paid for it. Next time eat and leave out the tobacco and see if that goes any better.
 
unless the percs were off like to much oxy in them from the manufacture you wont get sick on that most likely.

That's impossible...you don't take opiates and then withdraw from them, and judging by the OP's post he's not physically dependent at all.

It was definitely the addition of the cigs and bud. I have mixed cigs, bud and opiates many times and if you are on an empty stomach when you eat the pills especially, vomiting can happen. Weed does seem to intensify the opiate feeling, and with several cigs on top it seems completely normal that you puked. Weed and opiates are a nice combo but make sure you eat something first, or I find you can take a smaller opiate dose and use the weed as a potentiator. I wouldn't worry though, the pills being generic have nothing to do with it, with most of our health insurances I'm sure most of us never even get near the name brand.
 
never puked off of pills unless ive drank a considerable amount. ya all you are bitches

it was def the cigs, and def cuz u need to eat...

if u have a low tolerance and dont eat that day befroe taking opies, ull almost garentee get sick/dizzy/light headed

and even tho u ate and felt a lil better, not like the high would magicly appear, it was proba bly over by then

but i found when i used that if anything ruined my high it was ruined for good
 
Yea i would say the cigs as well. Sometimes even when i am buzzing on some norcos if i have a cigarette at a bad time it'll make me nauseous for a while than ill throw up. It's really annoying because i cant tell when it'll happen but yea try not to have too many cigs at once.
 
There the same brand and generic and you have a good experience with the Perc's the first time so most likely it was the weed with it, try them again without any other drug.

Usually I would only smoke a small amount of weed when I take Opiates/Opioids because I don't want anything to affect the high.
 
How tolerant are you to weed? I've puked few times on weed when i didnt had much of tolerance.You got all wired up after doing that stuff, it races your heartbeat, and mabe you have a heart conditions and stuff?
 
I have a low tolerance for percs because I only pop them once in a while, say maybe a couple times every three months.
Weed I have a medium-tolerance for, smoke it almost everyday of the week. I guess it was the cigarettes and empty stomach that did me in. Thanks for all the input.

Lol i know right, just because someone pukes from a low dose of something doesnt make them a "bitch"

Because Its so badass to have a tolerence through the roof 8)

Oh and yeah it was the cigs that made you puke, happens to everyone who smokes when they take opiates.

Gotta learn the hard way i guess :)
