Heroin Bad dope ?

Alright, swim bought a bundle of stamps (10 stamps), in Jersey City, NJ. Blue stamp with MIRACLE graphic. swim is a regular opiate user, oxys, poppy seed tea. Oxys once or twice a week. Have done dope once before, and it was great snorting one stamp.

This MIRACLE crap was tan color and took me 3.5 stamps to snort to feel anything.

Won't say price bc I know rules, but I know going prices in New jersey and I def got ripped.

In the future, how can swim look for warning signs of good and bad dope. color, taste, etc. (also, if you in the area. blue stamp with MIRACLE graphic.. TRASH
 
If ur buying on the street from someone u don't really know or aren't cool enough with to go to ur/their place to do the deal, you'll never be able to tell quality until you do some. That's why with any drug (and especially heroin) do half or less of your normal dose 1st, wait about 10-20 minutes and see how it effects you. That saying which is so prevalent here on BL;" you can always take more but can never go back and take less" should be gospel and always adhered to.
Also, I'm going to assume it came in those wax paper or "glassine" envelope type bags w/ the tape, if that's true you really can't open one up and inspect it on the street w/out making yourself extremely exposed to police officers and you'd risk being arrested.
More to your point, no there really isn't any way to check for quality w/out doing some. People talk about a strong vinegar smell equating to higher potency but that's not always true. Now if you clearly see that your heroin is pink or purple colored then that would b a big red flag to NOT buy it, short of that there's nothing else I'm aware of.
