Bad Caffeine Trip

I didn't think it was possible but last night I had a terrible caffeine trip. It was probably the worst trip I have ever had on any drug. The night started off with me taking about 400 mg of caffeine and feeling great. Everything felt like it was sped up and when me and my friends went driving in one of our friends car it was great. About 3 hours later we stopped by a party and that's when I started to trip out. I felt like I was a caged animal and I just had to get out of the house. Eventually we left and decided to go the the runs so I was stuck in the car for a long time. As we were coming home, about 6 hours later, my friend totally went numb so we stopped the car and as soon as I got out I fell to the ground because my legs felt to weak to support me. After we got back into the car I couldn't stop my moving and just started freaking out. Has anyone else ever been fucked up like this by caffeine or am i just wierd or sumthin?

Oh jesus, I think that I've got the mother or bad caffine experiences. When i was 15 (i think) I was on a school overnight trip when we stopped at a gas station. I bought a 52 oz. bucket of mountain dew and 2 boxed of snapback caffine powder. Like an idiot, i mixed the two together, (over a gram of powdered caffine, plus whatever was in the 52 oz of Dew). I downed the witches brew in about 30 minutes, and within the next three hours, i started twitching and shaking. I spent the night either moaning while sitting on the crapper, or laying the bathtub wearing two sweaters and two pairs of pants becuase i felt so cold. Oddly, i did get to sleep that night, but i woke up with what was by far the worst headache I've ever head. Morale: never ever ever ever do anything without knowing how much you should do to get a desired effect.

Sadly, I too have had a nasty caffeine experience. It wasn't the caffeine's fault that I was ignorant enough to ingest 11 pills (equivalent to 22 cups of coffee, they say) on the way to a concert about 15 years ago.
At first I felt really good, then I felt jittery and then I puked for the next 4 hours!
Were you on anything else besides the caffeine?

Here is my caffine tale of mindless stupidity:
Over the course of one evening at a party I ingested around about 15 caffine pills (100mg) along with a large quantity of alchohol... Since I had an early start at work the next morning my plan was to use the caffine to remain awake and prevent fatigue. Of course I had not set out to take 15 of the fuckers, but the chaotic atmosphere and evil drinks meant that I did't maintain a responsible tally of my dose. Regardless, the effects of the mix were quite euphoric for the duration of the evening, however the next day was hell. First I found myself feeling cold and weak, and experiencing dizziness whenever I stood up suddenly. I attributed this to tiredness due to lack of sleep, so I took more caffine (I lose count at this stage). Once at work, I still found myself feeling down, so another couple of tablets were downed. About an hour later I noticed signs of serious paranoia... It started quite subtly at first, I just became a little worried at my heart rate. Quickly this became an obsession, compounded by the fact my heart really was beating at an insane rate. I was gripped by an insane anxiety which verged on total panic, and could not stop shaking. My stomach was perpetually clenched, and by breathing became quick and shallow. It took a lot of effort not to hyperventalate and pass out. I was freezing and coated in sweat. Needless to say, I was a complete mess. I made some contrived excuse about illness and left work quickly to go home. On the way I vomited several times (in public, which did nothing for my mental state) The entire time I was struggling to hold myself together, and I was to paranoid to tell anybody what I had done. Once home I spent the next 24 hours sitting on my bed, rocking back and forth, completely certain I was going to have a heart attack any second. Its the most gripping irrational fear I have ever experienced...
While I am not much of a psychonaut, that was definetly the worst drug related experience of my life. It has left me with a lingering fear of a racing heart which I still am unable to fully shake. Stupid.
