Baclofen Withdrawal

So I tried to titrate up and back down on Baclofen to "cure" my alcoholism, under the direction of the mywayout.org forum. I ended up badly hooked on the baclofen and building tolerance rapidly. I was up to 350mg/day after 6 months. I started getting sick. I also forgot it on a trip for a few days and had brutal insomnia. I realized the claims of it being totally non-addictive were bogus. I have been trying to taper off ever since. I tried by myself and was down to 150mg and I though doing well, but the anxiety and insomnia came roaring back as soon as life threw any stress my way. I think I wen too fast. I dropped 200mg in 2 months. I have been to a shrink who won't toch the baclofen but has tried Seroquel, Remeron, Trazadone, Nuerontin, Ambien all to make me sleep. Works somewhat but now I get a lot of suicidal ideation too. Anyway my question is to gaba-B experts. If in fact I titrated too fast, at this point should I go back to the original dose, or tough it out and go slow from here out? Thanks. The medical profession is of virtually no help on this.
