Using touch keyboard so forgive grammar. Didnt want to post in kratom megathread because lots of people there havent done hard opiates

I have been using kratom regularly for aboug a year now and whenever I run out I switch off to heroin and dilaudids until my shipme t arrives. Do the two drugs build upon eachothers withdrawal effects? I.e. if I were so wired to kratom that the WD would last for a week and I switched to heavy heroin use for say four days and quit would the WDs stack on to eachother, or would the two withdrawals, howevrr similar, be present together in small amounts?I only post this herr as my mobile doesnt provide an option to select a thread prefix and I cant post without one.

The withdrawal would probably be more severe since the heavy stuff is a stronger agonist at the opioid receptors. Typically people use kratom to wean off of stronger stuff, not the other way around. The withdrawal is basically the result of your receptors not being activated as much as you have become accustomed to. The receptors don't care whether that activation comes from kratom or heroin, so you're not really withdrawing from two substances, you're withdrawing from opioids period.

Let me ask you this: After switching to H for a few days do you need a higher dose of kratom than before to stay well?

I'm in the same boat, maybe you can check out the thread I posted about using fentanyl for kratom withdrawals. I really hate kratom withdrawals. I'm trying to get a hold of some methadone to wean off but I can only get a hold of fent patches.

Yes, they're cross tolerant to an extent.

I think you will be more tolerant and the withdraw may be quite worse..
From my experience, every time you add another opiate you build a higher wall and it becomes even more difficult.

I won't need more kratom after being on H for a few days - at least not noticably. That said, I know this post referenced "heavy" heroin use but my substitution use is quite low and hardly enough to cause WD - I was asking merely for analytic purposes. Using mild amounts does seem to stave the WDs fairly well in that after 3 days of moderate to low use of H i will feel much less wd from kratom and only the mild effects (laziness and anxiety) I feel from 2-3 days of h

Well the withdrawal will be covered by each drug and vice versa. I think your thinking of it wrong. Heroin will completely stop kratom withdrawal, because they are both mu agonists- so when your taking heroin, its the same as if you took kratom instead. I would just think of it as opioid withdrawal, not each specific drug.

Now kratom isnt just an opioid (but its opioid effects are responible for 90% of the withdrawal) it also has a weak stimulant. Some extra caffeine will do the job to make up for it.
