Been out of the picture in the fitness world for about 2 years since I finished highschool football and all of my hard earned strength and size dissipated over this time of laziness. I'm about 6ft3 245 and am looking to lean out but retain my naturally larger physique. I'm not anywhere great with my bf% but i'm not obese. Looking for someone to help me with a regime, I'm most def gonna start throwin all the junk out of my diet and revolving around chicken and grains like quionoa and rice. Any tips out there strictly for my physique in regards of the most efficient way of getting leaner and packing on definition. Supplemental help as well, right now I have 5lbProtein, BCAA+GLutamine Powder, and probably a multivitamin and fishoils.

For the beginning part (1 to 2 months) of your training, stick to real food and whey powder for your protein. Once you start seeing some gains after a couple months I would add some form of creatine. Everything else you have there looks legit. I have been training for 13 months but in my first 2-3 months I was in your shoes. You are gonna be really sore for your first workouts and it will be hard, but drag your ass into the gym no matter what. IF you are looking to lean out drink plenty of water and make sure you get AT THE MINIMUM 3 days a week of cardio. Good luck homie.

cardio, anaerobic and aerobic contradict. i read a lot on musclehack.com if you have never checked it out, i recommend; back when i was lifting I got a great information from there. there is plenty of good stuff on there for natural bodybuilding. Yeah, i'm hoping to get back where i used to be quick, ill keep it updated, muscle memory usually works in my favor, thank god for that. I really want to cycle later on just to speed my gains and physique but I don't think that is even a good option until after I lift for a good 6-12 months. Probably do it at 21, but anyways thanks.

what is a good schedule for incorporating cardio. I read that cardio in the morning and lifting way later in the day is an efficient method. There is a maximal way of doing both to create efficiency cause I don't want any of my hard earned muscle going to waste simply because my timing is off and I am just looking to put it in there. Sorry for the shitty wording, hopefully someone knows what i'm trying to say here

Uhh...they do not contradict. ANY professional bodybuilder (jay cutler, ronnie coleman) does plenty of cardio. Just make sure you have a good amount of protein and carbs before you do. I do cardio after a I lift and have taken my post workout shake and creatine. I will upload a picture on healthy living shortly to show you that I do have good muscle and know what I am talking about. I have never done Steroids nor will i ever, but you should wait until you are back in pretty good shape, as you stated.

^^^ but but but I wanted a cycle buddy to pin with me this winter :(
Though your advice is dead on. :P
OP you can pop over to SD and post these kinda threads as well, we're a bit more... rough around the edges and blunt if you wil, but we're all there to help. Check us out (steroid discussion)

Haha, i'll head on over there. Been training the past two days, feel soo fucking good man. I was in kind of a depression the past year and a half, was working a shit ton, not caring much about PT just dollar signs, hah. Idk how sure I am if i will cycle, i am gonna be 20 in June, we'll see how my gains are coming along.@serotonin101 I am looking at twinmusclefitness on youtube and really like what they stand for they have similiraties when it comes to supplementation and I am currently doing the 'IF' - intermittent fasting right now, looks reasonable. Idk how well it works for a developing teen like me but i'm looking to shed some of this fat. Anyways hope to hear from you bro
