Back loading...can anybody tell me what it is?

I don't remember exactly when I started slamming meth but ever since I have, getting high by smoking or snorting seems to be a waste of time. I currently read while on here a term I've never heard
before and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was.

More or less loading the crystal through the back of the syringe then shake it up and shoot it. Probably a concept invented by tweakers who could not wait to find a filter. Or they were convinced that the crystal they had was 'so pure'. There's no benefit to this, and there are definite risks.

i dont understand the point of just backloading... thats really dangerous, but sometimes it is used to describe a method of filtering, a method of filtering that i swear by and is definitely second to micron filters. its when u jam a bunch of cotton down the end of a syringe and then put the liquid in the back after the cotton is compressed very tight at the bottom, then take the plunger out of another syringe, put the needle of the syringe that has the cotton in it inside the empty (new) one, and plunge the liquid down into the new syringe, effectively pushin the liquid through the compressed cotton and filtering it very well

Backloading seems to have a few different meanings - I always thought this was a term used for sharing drugs.

"Briefly, "backloading" is the practice of drawing up drugs or, more specifically, a drug solution into the syringe of an intravenous drug user (IDU) and then transferring a portion of the given solution into a second syringe (that belongs to another IDU) by removing the plunger of the second syringe and squirting some of the solution from the first syringe into the second syringe. So-called 'Frontloading' involves removing the needle (rather than the plunger) from the second syringe and then drawing back the plunger in order to allow the first person to squirt the solution in. In some cases, the second person will be allowed to help themselves to as much of the drug as they want, they can do this by drawing back the plunger of their needle until they have the amount of solution that they want. It's a way of sharing drugs between users and the the terms 'backloading' and 'frontloading' are a description of how the drugs are loaded into the syringe(s) prior to being used."

The only time I ever did this was when I was washing cottons, which I do not recommend as cottons can be a breeding ground for nasty bacteria that can cause infection but, this is what I use to do

I would buy my d for the week when I got paid so it was a decent amount considering i would go through about a bundle a day. I had a glass plate in an empty draw that i kept my shooting supplies in so i would dry the cottons as quickly as possible. Basically by the end of the week i would have 30-40 cottons some hard as a rock others kind of soft but i would make sure they were dried as quickly as possible as that is key to minimizing grossness. I would load them into the back of one of my old rigs as many as i could fit by smashing them down using the plunger as well a plunger to push them down. I would run about 40-60 units of water through it depending how much i thought i needed. and push it through the cottons onto a spoon and then refilter and inject. To be honest this shot had the potential to be one of the best of the week depending on how good i was at getting all of it out of the cottons when i first used them. On weeks that i thought i would run out early i would make it a point early in the week to not get every unit out of them and maybe keep 2 units in them. Because if i had 40 cottons with 2 units locked in them its like 80 units of my standard shot which can easily be twice as much as normal.

I dont really recommend it as it is gross, injecting old cottons is gross. It was however very effective and saved my butt in several occasions.
