B. Caapi Shelf Life

Does anyone have an idea of how long B. Caapi stays active? I've had about 14g in a plastic ziplock bag in at room temperature inside a guitar case for about a year and a half. I plan on consuming it in a few weeks with some 4-Aco-DMT and I'd like to know if it will still work it's magic.

Can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be active. Be interested to know how the trip goes. If the B.Caapi creates a full MAOI effect in you then I've a feeling you might get more of DMT-like trip than a mushroom kind of trip. Which will be a lot more visual and a lot sweeter bodyhigh. I'd be interested to know how you go on.

The one time I tried using B.Caapi as an MAOI I found it pretty nauseating. I prefer Moclobemide.

i seem to recall schultes tested a several hundred year old chunk of caapi that still had nearly the same total b-carboline content as a fresh piece. the only difference was most of the alkaloids had degraded into harmine from harmaline and tetrahydroharmine or whatever.
