A man who was supposed to be upholding the law is now accused of breaking it in a big way.

Jason Lowery, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation agent, was arrested Tuesday after a high speed pursuit in Pinal County which lasted 45 minutes — FOX 10 and Fox News have confirmed.

AZCentral:

A deportation officer with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement led Arizona state police and federal agents on a high-speed chase in his government vehicle, throwing bundles of marijuana out of the window as he fled, the Department of Public Safety said Wednesday.

The deportation officer, whose name has not been released, had been under surveillance for more than month after a known smuggler who had been arrested gave authorities a tip about the Officer in an effort to get lenient treatment, DPS Officer Carrick Cook told the Associated Press.

When DPS and federal agents tried to pull the officer over Tuesday after he picked up a load of marijuana in the desert with his unmarked ICE pickup truck, the officer fled, leading agents on a 45-minute chase at speeds of up to 110 mph as he threw 10 of the 14 bundles of pot that he had in the truck out of the window, Cook said.

“He got pretty desperate,” Cook said.

The chase ended when the officer’s vehicle rolled over and he gave himself up. He was booked into Pima County jail on charges of smuggling and felony flight.

DPS has not released his name, citing sensitivity because of their partnership with federal authorities.

The only way drugs could come into america at the amounts they do is with the knowledge and compliance with the authorities at every level. This guy was probably booked because the CARTELS didn't want him anymore and they can easily influence an investigation when so many of their members are willing to go to jail/disposable.

With the power cartels have in mexico they have a saying "silver or lead" the meanings pretty obvious. Take a bribe or a bullet its up to you. And Id say officials at EVERY level of government are taking the bribe. Even On the other side of the border where the cartels aren't able to wield as much influence.

This goes to show nobody is safe in the war on drugs.. One minute you can be on govt payroll making bank smuggling the shit youre hired to prevent, the next minute youre rotting in jail next to the dude that snitched you out cuz they only knocked off a year lol

ah yes, swine acting according to their nature

Thank you OP for posting the name of this rotten pig.

article on pigs acting like they always do said:

Jason Lowery, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement deportation pig

Just when I thought I couldn't have one iota less of respect for pigs of all flavors, an article comes along that tries to lay one last straw on the camel's back.

So sad. I feel sorry for the 0.0001% of pigs that are actually on the up & up. The other 99.9+% are ruining it for them.
