yup-- this ckick over at rutgers had like 20 grams of the shit---tryed it last night and it sure as hell tastes looks and smells like real opium but it sure did'nt get me bent like 3 years ago.....it is black/brown tar like-extremly sticky---tangy incese(opium flavor) any sugestions........thanx

I think you answered your own question...if you did enough of it and it didnt feel like opium, its not opium.

As we have said so many times - if you're making a post about it, then you probably didn't get opium...
If you take a hit and it doesn't produce a high, it's not opium...
It's just not a profitable business, because it takes so many poppies to produce a workable amount - it's easier to sell it to someone that produces heroin rather then sell it to someone that would just smoke it, hence the reason opium is so rare on the streets..

Anyone know about how many poppies one would need to score for a grams worth? I've never seen a flat out number.... i know it varies.... but any ballpark figure?

One poppy copuld yeild it over a season, but if you wanted it all at once - maybe 60-100 .. depends on the type and how you harvest.. I cant say I have ever yeilded a gram of opium, but I know how much you can get out of one poppy, so I figure you could get a gram from my number above..

how much poppy "resin" would it take to fuck you up?
if it will take 60-100 plants to make a gram...will 30 plants get me fucked up??

One or two plants will give you enough for a single hit or so.. not a big hit mind you, but enough you will feel it.. as for the effects and how many plants it would take to fuck you up - WHO CARES? You're asking if 30 plants is enpough, or exactly how many it takes for a gram - SO WHAT? Grow however many plants you can then go to town.. there are very few things that ae exact in nature..
