Awaited DXM Trip.

Shady? I don't know about that...

There have been times when I haven't been able to find gel caps, so I get the syrup, but I always prefer gels over syrup. The caps just make it easier to ingest the DXM since you don't have any taste issues to worry about.
 
Yeah. Actually, in the past I've broken the caps by tooth in order to hasten absorption, and they're STILL more palatable than syrup. :P

'cause I can get syrup at the 99cent store! Gels on the other hand cost like 6 bucks for 300mg. So 360mg/dollar or 50mg/dollar. Gels are definitely easier to down though, sometimes I'll go half and half, but never all gels.
 
Yeah, gel caps aren't available in Australia. We are a very conservative and restrictive country sad to say :(

Better then gelcaps and syrup is DXM powder. If you can find it that is. I've not consumed DXM in any other form.
 
I really should try and locate some DXM powder one of these days.

It's funny. People assume that the only reason anyone ever takes DXM is because you can get it on the cheap at your local drug store. But they really managed to pick a fascinating dissociative as the active ingredient for OTC cough syrup. If they were selling codeine syrup I'd have absolutely no interest.
 
New news, as of Monday I've been told I will have a drug test to go on a mine site. I'm completley clean at the moment. Unsure if the test will be in one week or a month.. The date for my mind adventure was ment to be this weekend, I've researched dxm can cause a false positive to pcp and opiates? And dxm is in the system for 3-5 days. Will the false pcp +opiate end then too?
I searches for gel caps, pills much easier than syrup but no luck in Australia =(

heh if it did turn up positive id just say "wtf all ive had is cough syrup for my cough" if justice is real then it would be on your side.
 
I've been looking forward to this and hate to think of putting it away in the cupboard. Surely one recreational dose wouldn't show much on a test. We will see haha. They're very strict, but it is legal...
 
I've heard reports of DXM showing up as PCP in some drug tests. Although, it does have a half life of only 1.4-3.9 hours, so as long as you're not tripping while you're taking the test, you'll probably be fine.
 
After thinking about it I think I'll wait until after the test, even if it is a month away. On the money acidclouds, dxm always there. I'll report on my trip when the time comes, hopefully soon =D
 
Alright.. I've just taken 180mg dxm. At 3.50pm at home.. From calculator this is low end 2nd plateau. Strange feeling don't know what to expect, bit the syrup was nowhere near as bad as what it had been made out to be. And only 60ml to drink easy.
So I have a few hours wait? Is this enough of a dose IYO? or should I have another shot? Any comments appreciated at the moment =)
 
Glad to hear you didn't mind the taste of the syrup but it gets exponentially worse tasting the more often you do it and the more you have to drink. If you ever end up doing a whole bottle (200mL) I doubt you'll be saying it wasnt that bad by the time you down it all but hopefully I'm wrong.

180mg isn't going to blow your mind or anything but it will be very noticeable and a good introduction. My first time was 50mL (I'm 70kg) and I thought it was a good introductory dose. Re-dosing doesn't usually work that well so I would just save the syrup for a bigger dose next time if you're dissapointed.

But I mean lying in bed with closed eyes and listening to music and thinking which is what people usually do on dxm is interesting/enjoyable sober so if you do it on 180mg dxm you should have fun. As I said just dont expect it to blow your mind at that dosage and you wont be dissapointed

Lazy Saturday afternoon, more lOoking for something to entertain me lol. Xbox at the moment. May head to my room if it gets a bit more intense. Listening to infected mushrooms is nice, feel something hard to explain, been 1 hour 10 min now. I'll keep the posts coming =)
 
Morning now..
I started off with 180mg, and one hour after had another 60mg. Played xbox for a while but couldnt really concentrate so went to my room and watched a movie. I think I must have stayed in first plateau, was hard to notice the full effects until I stood up and went for a walk. decided to walk to the gas station with my headphones, brought some water and fumbled cash at the counter for a while then home. Didnt get the "music sounds awesome" buz or anything, mostly just, feel dizzy drunk and walk funny lol.
Really messed up sleep too, and now im up at 5.30 =/ thats new for a sunday?

Next time its 300mg I think. but ill put it away for a couple weeks until then. first experience was fun =) but I think a little more will be good. always best to start small anyway.
