Availability of psychedelic drugs....

Im a senior in HS and i keep asking my friend (well connected, one of the "go to" people here at school) for mushrooms or lsd. he tries to get mushrooms but for some reason keeps getting screwed up and isnt able to get them. And then he says he wont even deal with lsd because it "makes you go insane". so fucking annoying, all anyone does around here is weed, alcohol, and pills. he told me there is "literally no demand for this stuff (psychedelic drugs)"

and then next year im going to a small private school far away from home that is most definitely NOT a party school. It will be great fun, and i cant wait, but its just that i would be surprised if i ran into any pot smokers never mind people into psychedelics.

i just feel like its impossible for me to get any of this shit
 
he's not very well connected then is he. go to clubs, raves, speak to people, grow you own mushrooms.
 
You seem young. So you have a long life a head of you. What's the hurry? You'll eventually get to try the psychedelics you want to try.

at first, it sounds like your friend has very little knowledge about psychedelic drugs. if he had informed himself, he would have read that many people find LSD more gentle on the mind than mushrooms. suggest him to get more information first or these drugs may screw him over.

secondly, if you have no access to psychedelics, you don't know the right people, simply as that. with the right attitude and knowledge anyone can find psychedelics, but you have to be serious about it (even if you're after fun trips). plus this forum isn't the place to specifically help you to get drugs.
 
What's your point? We can't and won't help anyone to source drugs here so... yeah. As Fagott said there's no rush anyway. Be patient.

Psychedelic drugs aren't going to go away any time soon. Your situation sounds almost identical to my situation in high school. Generally speaking, most of the people who do psychedelic drugs are only interested in psychedelic drugs, so you can't get them from, for example, your high school pot dealer. If you really want to trip ASAP, I would advise you to look for music/camping festivals in your area where jam bands play. If there are jam bands, there is LSD, guaranteed. However, I think the best advice at this point is just to be patient and live your life.

I thought I had "connections" and then I moved out of the suburbs and went to college....

Here is a piece of inside information about college. Every school is a "party school".
 
Go to a music festival where jam bands play, and you camp out overnight. Problem = solved.
 
the first drug i ever did was mushrooms (even before smoking pot) when i was 14. in the following year i took LSD, MDMA, various 2c-X RC's, mescaline, ayahuasca, and countless other psychedelics (yes eventually i smoked pot). in fact, that was all i could get until almost exactly a year later, when I couldnt find any psychedelics anywhere, and i started using lots of other drugs, like coke, meth, etc., yet i always was looking for some acid, but couldnt find any for a long time. now, i've come to realize that psychedelics only become available when you need them. They find you, rather than you find them. And i noticed you said something about "partying on psychedelics"? yeah, if that's you're mindset, I wouldn't even take them in the first place. Psychedelics are sacred, and are not necessarily "party" drugs, and you may find yourself extremely overwhelmed, and you will have the worst trip of your life. although to answer your question, you should just grow your own mushrooms if you really cant find any and REALLY want to try them. order your own spores online (unless you live in california, where it's illegal). LSD was difficult to finduntil recently, as i just got a connect for virtually anything psychedelic, which means i am in a place in my life where psychedelics are benificial to me.
