Autosave... can i recover my writing?

Wrote almost an hour and sent... had to re-login. 8( (How to switch off auto-logout?) After that, my thread wasn`nt published. I noticed that, after closing the tab. The complete loss of my written text? Or can i recover it, because of that appearing yellow "auto-saved" button? If yes, where to find autosaved posts?
 
Wasn't able to recover my writing, because it was about submitting a thread. But thanks!
