I hope everyone made it safely through their christmas celebrations and are now thoughtfully planning their new years celebrations

Made it through the first stage thanks Psilo. Great words of advice lil and so elegantly put.
Hope santa brought y'all just what your little hearts desired. My santa was actually 2; two lovely ladies that entertained and provided us elves with the feast of all feasts - complete with french champagne and imported beers. For those who's hedonistic preferences include food; aside from the variety of interesting treats served throughout the day, our courses comprised of:
Oysters shucked just prior to serving; choice of natural or with a lime-coriander-green chili garnish that really rattled the taste buds while still allowing the full taste of the oyster to be experienced.
Skewered, char grilled WA King prawns marinated in a zesty lime and chilli sauce
Ham, various cold meats, salads, cheeses, preserves and that chilli salami - only 2 of us were game, i.e. stupid enough to eat the outer skin off the roll 8(
Turkey, roasted with special herbs and veges from our garden
then to top it all off...
A generous serving of homemade citrus flavoured pavlova with fresh strawberries, also from our garden.
I don't know how we'll top that on NYE but I believe there are plans afoot.

I got fire poi for one christmas present and they are great fun to use

Been offline for a week or so, so a belated Merry Christmas to everyone, but let's be honest, Christmas has got NOTHIN on NYE :D PLUR PLUR PLUR
NYE it can be a wonderful night, or a terrible way to bring in the new year. Everyone party safe, make sure you test, think, plan, come up with plan B's, and C's and D's for your crazy party festivities, ps always clean up whilst still riding high before bed, makes the next day so much easier.
