^It's a group effort.. so sitting around the 'table' and discussing all peoples ideas and opinions is of value. Not just the 'headmasters' opinion goes.

rather than everyone just sucking up the head guys arse based on what they think - because for whatever reason, and knowledge they have more skill at making their opinion more valid than anyone elses. (i'm pointing that toward p_d, and it's not an attack at all... I just feel your way with words is good for making people come around to your way of thinking).

Isn't that what senior mods and admins are for 8)
 
eh, they're not senior mods or admins... It's got nothing to do with being a mod or not.. it's about being able to use language in a way that makes people agree with your ideals.
 
Senior mods are just mods who think the extra privileges are worth the additional sacrifice, and admin are just gluttons for punishment imo, as their work load can be massive at times.

Both positions demand far more of a person's time than being a mod. During my short stint as a senior mod, I found the time required vs the online time I had meant I had little time left for lengthy posts. I take my hat off to them, they're all

Arguing is an art form. The trick is to have very, very good motivations for the thesis you are presenting and several if not incontrovertible, then soundly based, ways of demonstrating its value. This makes it possible to argue strongly whether you believe in your stance or not. At least, until someone invents a way to punch people in the face over the internet...

There is, it's called meetups!

Yeah my hat goes off to the mods on here, I certainly don't have the patience to be able to deal with so many people, I get annoyed easily, call people names, have a history of needing to delete my posts before mods do, and believe marijuana is a dangerous drug lol

It would be good to see another ovary-bearing figure on the team, but there don't seem to be an overwhelming number who post in these parts :\

I can only think of the one active female member that I know of. It is so funny when people always assume you are a guy ;)
 
I've met the three I know of, and I've met a 4th that has an account but doesn't post or go on... Well she's my GF actually.
