Teehee.

Fridays are generally more pub-oriented days....

Saturdays are reserved for clubbing. And I'm too old for nightclubs now ;)

Given that the thread is now in Aus Social, does that mean that anyone who has posted since it's been moved is no longer invited? 8)

Is that required?

It's only here for guidelines purposes...

Anyone deemed decent is invited idealistically.. There is just a specific crew we're trying to get together for this.. no one else has a problem with the prereqs.

God damnit - this is suited to AusDD since its AusDD centric, we're not inviting the social crew...

oh well. social crew - if ur not an ausdd regular, dont bother.

Actually, I think we are all going to come along. We're all looking forward to it too, should be a good time to catch up with the Aus Social crew

^cool, well you enjoy your sydney pub crawl and go for your life.

I take it the message was sarcasm anyway.

I'm not trying to exclude anyone, as i've totally stated - but the idea of this, and why we placed it in AusDD in the first place - was for the AusDD group, which has become quite tightknit over the past few months especially - to have a chance to get together and party it up a little.

Anyone is welcome to come - as stated, Tripman is handling the invites/providing details to those invited - so please PM him, and if he deems it cool. there really isn't a problem.

How can you start a public thread for a meet up and then 'invite' specific people?

It's not 'public'... nor is it 'private'... We're just making sure those coming, for the interest of other members annonymity, and police interest - are screened beforehand. It's not about specific people. Just a demographic of people that a group of us have chosen (those being members of AusDD almost exclusively)... ffs read the damn thread - it wsa moved from AusDD for breach of guidelines (based on the fact it's an event and social gathering).

This is why i didn't want this in here. Meh, mods you're now welcome to close this thread - as those involved are already well aware of the who/what/when and where.

^ I did read the damn thread, a few times. Aus Social has run hundreds of successful meet ups over the last 10 years, maybe you should take a leaf from this book? :)

Have fun, but my point was mainly that it could have all been done privately anyway :)
