FOLLOWING yesterday's police raids on retailers believed to be selling illicit synthetic cannabinoids, we are asking readers what they think about this issue.

Ann Healy from Enchantments had $10,000 worth of stock taken from her Rockhampton and Yeppoon stores, despite having a declaration that the products she was selling did not contain any of the banned synthetic cannabinoids.

Another Rockhampton retailer had a large quantity of products police believed to have contained banned synthetic cannabinoids earlier this year, but there have been no further details made public by the police on that issue.

To date, no charges have been laid against either of these retailers as the chemicals undergo a laboratory analysis.

Yeah its weird they can seize all the product when it doesn't contain anything that is banned (yet)

I two have often wondered how Big Brother can seize a stores supply of legal Smoke. Ive seen alot in the news lately about this happening all over America. Now it seems that it is happening over sea's now.

I thinks its unacceptable to do this. The problem is not the stores its the fact that Marijuana is illegal and people simply try to skirt the law and do something that is very similar I dont blame them at all. I would and have done the same thing.

Although I say all of this I do agree that a lot of the synthetic Cannaboids on the market are way to strong and way to stimulating To the point where it scared the hell out of me (A seasoned Drug user) the first time I took a bowl rip of some Mr. nice guy strawberry Worst mistake I have had in a long time.

Its simple Regulate marijuana and this stuff would be nothing more then a novelty much like Salvia.
 
I think they need to focus more on important things. Maybe creating some jobs. I might understand more if they were going after major drugs but come on.
 
Yeah! And make them write "I must not strip naked and bite dogs and people" 5000 times.
