I've been wondering if others think about this. What in us determines what we like as far as a mate? Both physically and personality-wise. Does it have to do with genetics? What our culture sees as attractive? Our parents looks on some subconscious level? Our personal beliefs? Things we may have been emotional deprived of as we grew up? This topic may be too vague to really get any answers but I've been pondering this all day.

Physically - I tend to be attracted to brunettes the most. I really have no clue why I do.

Personality-wise - I'm really attracted to girls that are down to earth and have a sweet/kind nature to them. Women who have good taste, hobbies, and goals are a huge plus for me.

And I'm the most unattracted to the materialistic type girls. Especially the one's that try too hard to act cool. They'll wear like a ton of make-up, wear a trucker hat kicked to the side, and do a ton of facebook pictures posing with that stupid lip thing a lot chicks do. And like their only interest is listening to lil Wayne & shopping. Ehhhhh, no thanks! I don't care how hot you are.

When it comes down to wanting to be a woman with quality; I guess this has a lot to do with my upbringings. Maybe if I grew up in a drug addict home in the projects, I'd have different views.

I think it is a combination of both. I mean, if it was just nature, I'd likely be attracted to the same type of guy I was attracted to years ago. I'm not.
