ATTN: Xanax users!!!

For about the past 6 months, i have been getting scripts for xanax from my doc, first .5mg and a lil' while later 1mg, I just wanted to let you guys know that there is a generic manufacter making all forms of xanax/alprazolam (the generic), in differnt forms, what I mean is i picked up my script a while back and my .5mg and they were round and not "oval" and yesterday my new batch of 1mg alprazolam were also round.???? Although i must say they have'nt changed the colors. I just thought i would let you guys know, In case you might think you are getting ripped off by some kid!!!!!!! Lemme know if anyone else has seen these ThAnX mike!
 
I often get 2mg generic xanax that are white and round. They're scored with an X so that the pill can be broken into quarters.
 
Are you, HIGH? I am a little foggy on what the purpose of your post was - are you just trying to inform us? Generics often follow the aperance/color scheme as the name brand, but there are more that don't .. I forget what company used to make the generics I got when I was prescribed Xanax, but the .5mg tabs were BLUE, the 1mg tabs were PINK, and the 2mg tabs were GREEN - all were the same "football" shape (rounded, not cut in the same way Xanax brand is) .. it was a pain in the ass to sell the tabs to friends because you would offer them one of the pink tabs telling them it's 1mg, but they think that 1mg is blue and the pink is .5mg .. to further complicate things, the dose wasn't stamped on the tabs, only some imprint codes...
There are a number of pharmacutical companies that make generic forms of drugs, hell, probably more then 10 companies are making generic Xanax in the US alone..
 
Look preex, i was simply trying to inform people!!!!!!!!! because Every time someone asks "what color and shape are they" and EVERYONE tells them that they are ALL oval shaped, or barr shaped, WHICH IS NOT TRUE!!!! SO lay off the ATTITTUDE buddy!!!!!! I thought this board was to educate not critisize!!!! DAMN!! YOU NEED TO LEARN to chill THE FUCK OUT!!!!!!!!!
 
If your going to educate at least know what your talking about, do some research. Most of the seasoned Other Drugs people know about the difference between name-brand drugs and generic drugs. If your not sure that the pill your getting is what it should be just look up the imprint code on RxList. Not too tough.

No, YOU need to chill the fuck out.. I was asking you a question because on the first pass your post made little sense - on the second pass I realized you were just kinda telling us about the generics and there was no question ... I think you need to pop a few Xanax as your reply was totally un-called for..
But um.. I think most people understand that generics don't always follow the name-brands mold/color.. yeah, if you're selling to ravers at an after party or kids at school, then you might get the "hey man, Xanax doesn't look like that" - you can try to explain the concept of generics but it's a lost cause, just get firm and tell them to take it or leave it - if they have any doubts they can sign on to their AOL account and go to rxlist.com (NOT keyword rslist because I dont think that exists) .. or they can call poison control.. but I would HOPE that there isn't anyone in here thats like, shocked by this.. hell, I imagine there is a greenlighter somewhere going "oh poppycocks, you mean that not all generic 2mg alprazolam tablets look like them totum-polls?"

By the way ikarus, there are a few things i don't know alot about, but they are FEW and far between!!!!! And hey, All of us learn something new everytime we post/reply!!!!!! MIke
