Hey all,

As some of you know, a few months back, Bluelight's main contributor died. Since then, we have been existing on donations and contributions by several groups. Well, January is coming up and a big hosting bill is due then. Bluelight is huge, so it's pretty expensive to keep it up and running. If you love Bluelight and use it regularly, or even if you just love Bluelight, I'd like to urge you to help.

How can you help? Well, one simple way that will not cost you anything but 20 minutes of your time is to take the Inflexxsion prescription drug abuse survey. It's confidential and for every person who completes it, the holder of the survey will make a donation to Bluelight (which I hear is quite generous). So if you have no money to spare, then please at least follow this link and help us out. :)

Other ways you can give money: I'm sure you've noticed the flashing banner at the top of the site. You can buy EZ Test kits and the proceeds will go towards Bluelight. And finally, there is a Donate link up on the top bar of the site. You can follow that and make a donation that way, as well.

Keep PD (and the rest of Bluelight) alive! :)

Is there any word how much bl needs to be paid up?
I read the big announcement but didnt really see much about bl servers costs.

I was just moreso wondering how much it costs to hold a site like bl.
Like in the thousands or less.
The Internet is a funny way of digital estate

So yeah, I have done the survey- am I the only one now hanging for opiates?? :D But one thing, how do they now we are from Bluelight, I guess interweb data stuff could tell them.
 
I sent them an e-mail pointing out the parochialism of their survey :D - tho I didn't quite word it that way :\

Many of those prescription meds rarely if ever see the light of day in europe - at least in the olden days they didn't.
 
^What do you mean "parochialism"? I know not that word Bean Iron.

Kinda "triggering" sort of survey; I bet a few people cracked out the drugs after seeing that array of pills...;)
 
well, that was easy! done.

it only really asked about opioid prescriptions. I haven't done all THAT many of those, so...
