Looking for some good advice on Kratom strains and I respectfully defer to the Kratom connoisseurs of Bluelight. I've recently tried Bali which I find to be quite nice, almost has a hydrocodone feel to it. Have also tried the Ming Dah Red vein which is okay but not quite what I'm looking for.

To sum it up I'd like a strain to sort of fill the gaps in between the Norco doses, a strain to help with energy mood and motivation sort of a stimulating strain, and any other strains that have a strong opiate like effect. Also looking for a strain to help with opiate withdrawals and any other noteworthy strains that are worth trying.

With so many to choose from it can be confusing. Can those in the know please point me in the right direction. I know nobody can tell me exactly how my body will react to any given strain but I'm looking for the general consensus. Thanks!

Btw, I'm not looking for an all in one inclusive strain, just different strains that help with the different issues mentioned.

Maeng Da was recommended to me for pain/mood lift. I am prescribed Oxycodone for CP, but it's just not the answer. Opiates intensify constipation for me. Sadly, Kratom trial did the same. I liked the way it felt, but Jeez...what does one do when tx for dead bowels don't work? I digress.

Yeah that aspect of opiates sucks majorly. Not to be gross miss even a day and you're in for a world of hurt.

Bali is the most like opiates, ime. Maeng Da got me a little too jacked up. But make no mistake, these will constipate you just like any other opiate. It still works on the same receptors. The constipation may not be as bad, but it will happen. They use it sort of like immodium in Thailand.

I love kratom though! As long as you don't start messing with the UEI extracts it's a lesser habit than norcos, but it still can be a habit and you can still get some nasty ass WDs from it.

:| Yep, I exist (not live) in a "world of hurt" without even taking prescribed opiates or Kratom.

My GI system is major league fucked up by disease and surgery/chemo to remove disease.

Crippling constipation for me is forever (almost 4 decades now) without tx daily to move bowels. Even with tx, I sometimes go up to 11 days without BM. The opiates prescribed through PM doctor for almost 2 years now are paralyzing my colon. Kratom did the same.

Jeez...I know risk vs. reward, but I can't deal with this pain any more y'all.
