Atropine

I have a bottle of atropine. I know this is the active ingredient in Datura which causes one the heaviest trips known to man. Causing delirium and confusion. I was wondering if the atropine bottle could be used in the same way as Datura? Since this will be a measurable dosage?

Datura, Belladona, Hyoscyamus : they're dirty trips, and in your case you would be missing the non-atropine component of those trips. Atropine on its own is hasardous and not nice. Read the Wikipedia article on "Atropine".

Very, VERY few people find anticholinergics to be enjoyable and repeat the experience by choice.

Deliriants aren't fun drugs. Datura is an especially dangeous one that lasts longer. If you must do a deliriant, try doing benadryl.

Atropine is not recreational. I wouldn't use it, at all. It's very potent and, as others have mentioned, is anything but fun.

It's very risky because not only will it give you some horrible physical-side effects, but you'll also probably black out and do something really really stupid.

Initial single doses in adults vary from around 0.5 mg to 1 mg (5-10 mL of the 0.1 mg/mL solution for antisialagogue and other antivagal effects, to 2 to 3 mg (20-30 mL) of the 0.1 mg/mL solution) as an antidote for organophosporous or muscarinic mushroom poisoning. When used as an antidote, the 2 to 3 mg dose should be repeated no less often than every 20 to 30 minutes until the signs of poisoning are sufficiently lessened or signs of atropine poisoning (see ADVERSE REACTIONS and OVERDOSAGE) occur.

There you have it, take ~2mg as an antinauseant if you like but otherwise leave it alone. Unless you get gassed with Sarin.

The "recreational" dose is probably above 10mg but be warned- atropine has a really long half life and you'll blow your pupils for a week if you fuck up the dose. And like others have said it's no fun.
