Hey guys this is kinda silly but I've been prescribed klonopin for about 8 years and today we switched it up to ativan. Not getting a goddamn thing from it. So anxious I could chew my fingers to the bone yet I've taken about 20 of them. So miserable. I just want to have a m9ment where the world isn't ending. Anyone else on ativan?
 
I've been on several different benzos and am currently on Ativan. Klonopin took too long to kick in for acute anxiety and panic and my psychiatrist won't prescribe me Xanax with my history of alcoholism. I don't think Ativan is a "fun" drug. When I take it as prescribed (up to 2mg a day) all it does is return my baseline anxiety back to normal and even when I've abused it, all it did was give me mad blackouts.
 
Lorazepam is an underrated benzo imo but if your dose isn't eqivilent to your klonopin dose I can imagine why you're feeling anxious
