Ativan (Lorazapam)

triazolam is great if you get your dose right and have lots to redose with. ativan is good stuff too. very different benzos though.
 
Like I said, I found Ativan very weak compared to the other benzos I have tried, such as Xanax.
I would say the only thing that you can do is take it and see how if effects you. I would start with just .5mg and see how that works. IMHO, it is always better to take less than take too much, you can always take more. And no, I wouldn't say it is euphoric in the least.
 
A word of caution about ativan. Sometimes, you can feel sober when you are really super fucked up. And it causes horrible amnesia if you go too far. And then you might end up taking more and not remembering it the next day. That's how I OD'ed on Ativan TWICE. It an be fun, but use caution.
 
i'm scripted .5 lorazepam as well atm. i take 2-3mg for anxiety & sleep, but i don't take it daily; (it stops working after the 2nd day)

i'd say 2-4mg is recreational. definitely don't overdo it with this one. it takes a while for this shit to peak, so before you know it you're fucked up.. i took 5mg (spaced out over maybe 2 1/2hrs) a few nights ago with only 2 beers & i was completely gone. i couldn't see 10ft in front of me.. somehow i thought it'd be ok to drive home from my friend's place an hour away.. i don't remember driving at all.. just waking up the next day in bed & thankful nothing happened

mind you i have a lot of experience with benzos, but none of those have fucked up my judgement that much even while drunk & on opiates, weed, etc

start low.. i'd start with 1mg then leave only a few out if you want them.. hide the rest so you don't take them

I could never feel ativan, it really fucked me up at the time because I tried to use it to replace xanax but all that would happen is I'd take ativan in the morning and not feel a thing, then have a bad panic attack and take twice as much xanax as normal. It basically doubled my tolerance within a month. Just my experience though, and I've gotten things straightened out since.

How much Ativan did you take?! A bottle of 60 or so 2mg tablets wouldn't cause an overdose unless something else was in the persons system. When taken without anything else, benzodiazepines are very safe.

Both times I OD'd benzodiazepines were in my system but so was a shit load of other downers, sedatives, alcohol and other drugs.
