As my life fell apart and ever since
I've come to disbelieve in His existence
All of the cardinal molestsings, abortion, and homosexuality
Made me believe less in hope and more in reality

And I've come to terms with the lack of freedom
That is so promised to exist in His kingdom

I do, however, believe in basic morals and guidlines
Don't steal, don't kill, and do not swap wives
(It causes confusion in the end)

But if you try to convert me, or threaten me with Hell
I'm willing to go if I can take you as well

Nicely done!

I agree...its weird how some religious believers think they have the monopoly on morality; so if you're not religious according to them you cannot possibly have any morals 8)

^^great end lines :D

:] Thanks, I'd been thinking of those lines for a whiiiiile.

And it's not like just 'cause you're religious you don't steal, or do drugs(mahah), or kill. There are plenty of those. There are plenty of nonbelievers who still act morally, and some who don't. Religion doesn't have much sway on morality, in my estimation.

^i'll drink to that. religion doesn't have any sway on morality.

definitely an insightful piece. nicely done.
