I have mild schizophrenia but i dont like taking 400mg of seroquel cuz it can leave me a little tired the next day.
I need a drug that blacks dopamine which ofcourse is what needs to be done to help this condition.
now alot of u know that seroquel is only an anthistamine in low doses. ive done some research. & I havnt found a reliable source as what the dose is that it starts to block dopamine.
I wanna only take the dose where it blocking a plausible amount of dopamine & no more.
unfortunately ive only found when i googled forums with just some person who probably doesnt know anything who says its 300mg. although on wikipedia it used to say 200mg
does it start to block dopamine at lower doses than 200mg but not significant enough to be considered to be beneficial for schizophrenia?
what dose of seroquel does it start to block significant amounts of dopamine. im hoping its only 200mg. because 300mg-400mg ive been taking although helps me sleep well. i dont wanna take any more than needed because im gunna be on this for a long time & wanna avoid later health problems like tardive dyskinesia & diabeties.
So should I take 150mg, 200mg, 250mg, 300mg or what?
like i said i only want the minimum dose that starts to block a plausible amount of dopamine.
any sources would be appreciated.
please try to answer this question and ive got another

this is an AP comparison chart. its shows everything so it's worth looking at.
it seems 5mg only equals 75mg seroquel. My dr says 5mg equals 200mg seroquel
good thing is about zyprexa is it blocks dopamine at any dose.
can anyone find an AP dose equivalent chart like the one I just had. I'll have to print it out to give to my dr.
im torn between taking 5mg zyprexa or 200-400mg of seroquel.
i wonder which would be more likely to cause long-term diseases.
edit: oh shit. im sorry i was on benzos last night & forgot that id already made a thread about this that nobody has answered. sorry for making a double thread mods.
