Im wondering if anybody out here on the world wide web has heard of a thing called Astral Projection if so please leave some details if you have had any personal experiences with astral projection please share

Ive heard of some people doing this, apparently many say, when they go into this astral world, they have a silver type cord attached to them, this is what keeps them connected to their physical body, and cannot be cut as far as I know, Ive heard people see some terrifying beings on the astral plane as well, but they cant harm you.
Ive always wondered though, if people can really do this shit, why has no one ever astral projected into a bank vault or cash vault somewhere...seems like if this sort of thing was possible, someone would try to get rich off their abilities.

Astral Projection is very interesting and for most, a lot harder than you'd think. I've done it a few times now, usually with the help of hemisync, which makes it a lot easier to get into the right mind state. I haven't seen any 'cord' but I haven't had problems returning to body either - once I slammed back in so hard I swear I bounced on the mattress. Not sure what brought me back but it woke the missus - either me landing or whatever it was that returned me so rapidly.
I've heard of people having problems with entities but none have bothered me - I actually haven't met any so far.
As for why nobody has gotten rich off it? Says who? Do you honestly think someone who did use such an ability would then go talking about it? :D
But I don't know if we can use it that way. While some of the environment we 'see' out there is kinda familiar, it is usually different in significant ways. And if 'reality' is really just a consciousness artefacts, I'd be wondering if it was even feasible to go touring the Solid - maybe the very act of leaving the body detaches us from the Solid and lets us roam in a different kind of space?

It could also be related to Astral Maps that some experts make regarding you life in combination and aligned with the stars.
It´s something that is not scientific at all, but merely a collection of your personal data, like date and hour you were born, place, etc so they can tell you something about your life.
I´ve heard it´s expensive and there are a number of astronomy details in such maps which can be very interesting to read and own afterwards. Of course you have to believe in that or else it wouldn´t work.

My view on Astrology is that it describes our default in life. This is how things will be if we don't take a hand in things and just let life happen to us. That's why, I think, some people claim they are nothing like their 'sign' says - something changed in their lives and they grew differently. It's not that expensive but the more precisely you know your time and place of birth, the more accurate it can be.
It seems quite soundly based (Astronomy came from Astrology in the first place) and the more Physics finds out about the universe, the more we get a kind of backing for what Astrology has claimed all along. Everything is energy, even the Solid. We live in an energy wash, from faint star radiation to the deeper level magnetic fields of earth. You have only to see Earth's 'Angel' diagram of our magnetosphere interacting with the Sun to realise just how pervasive such energies are.
And the earth's field has a re-connection event with the Sun every 8 minutes or so - I find it fascinating that the timing is almost spot on the light distance from Sun to Earth - but only one way. I've racked my brains for some years over what that might mean. I think there's a basic clue in there somewhere.
Even DNA has a persistent energy structure - place some in a vacuum and shine a laser at it then remove the sample and up to a couple of hours later you can still see the DNA signature in the chamber. The question is, in what is that trace persistent? In high frequency electric fields we 'glow' - and there are several different fields that can be 'seen' depending on the process. The Kirlian is one. Harry Oldfield developed a camera and videocam that can interpret the alterations in light around the body, showing energy flows that appear to give detailed information about problems and health.
It's not a large leap at all, when you read about what Physics has to offer, to see how it is quite possible our energetic environment might influence who we are in some way. We don't know just how, probably because it is seen as 'fringe' at best and getting funding is problematic.
It might even be that a particular energy pattern will only allow a particular type of consciousness to 'enter' the Solid.
Which is an interesting possibility... :D

Our understanding of electricity is warped and incomplete. Space is not an empty vacuum, it is absolutely teeming with activity.. all those beautiful space pictures of clouds.. all plasma. And those are the ones we can see. Not all plasma glows. I suspect the other 'bodies' that overlap the physical body are a form of plasma/electricity in some form, of which the astral is just one. Just a thought.
incredible , I was thinking astral projection was all BS for many years... Until I really realized my true gift of "lucid dreaming" and exactly what I could do .. The first time I was in a dream state and conscious of it was just as exhilirating as one of my best drug experiences ( got a lot of those!)
"am I dreaming?" - This is the moment you realize you are actually asleep, for most people you will instantly wake up here. My first "projection" was odd because I asked myself the question and remember being iike "oh my god i'm still dreaming!, quick what should i do?" from there I jumped up in the air and just hovered, ecstatic! I thought to myself, where should I go? Asia!
For my first 4-5 lucid experiences I mostly just flew around. If it was a type of flying, I did it. See there is a certain mechanism i have to use to fly around in my dreams, its funny but if you have seen "hook" or know about peter pan , its like that. Your happy thought, its like the ultimate form of letting go and just feeling flight and lighter than air... You sort of float slowly into the air, start to gradually pick up speed and then you are in it... flying! if you lose that freeing happy feeling and/or overthink it, you fall like a brick and have to start over. . Sometimes I can use the wind and sort of soar on that, even flap my arms to get started. If there are zombies, vampires, enemies after me ... many times I can fly , or jump/bounce super high to get away from them. It becomes a nightmare when i suddenly start overthinking my flying ability, and can't get away fast enough or bounce high enough. Now that I think about it, it is FEAR itself that actually criples my flying ability. So hang on to that happy thought!
For me the flying led to realizing I could go ANYWHERE I wanted, not only in the world; but OUT of the world. After a few lucid dreams/projections I got to thinking "if I could go anywhere Do anything right now, what would it be? " My older brother is in the Navy and lives out of state... We were always best friends growing up and would go on all sorts of adventures smoking weed, eating mushrooms hiking and skiing together.. So I thought , I want to go to another beautiful planet and smoke weed with my brother....It was about .2 seconds of indescribable space warping travel and instantly I was staring at the forest in a clearing on Endor ... I was at a campsite where there was a fire and a giant leather tee pee... I had the distinct feeling I was ALONE on the planet, until I remembered my brother, who just then walked out of the Teepee... A giant grin formed on my face, and he was smiling looking into my eyes! I was blown away, it felt almost too perfect, and while we smoked and talked his eyes told me "i am really just a projection of your mind, and not your brother, but enjoy!"
These are the sort of experiences which led to my more spiritual profound experiences.. I just wanted to post so that anyone wondering could get an idea how I started projecting.

@-=SS=- - electricity is not alone. Magnetism is another such. Ed Leedskalnin said there is no such thing as electricity, that it is all just little N & S particles moving around, in and through everything. Think tachyons to get an idea.
Ed might seem a bit of a kook but the guy moved 10 to 30 tonne coral rock around all by himself, including in time periods so short he could not have been using leverage and inclined plane methods. So he knew SOMETHING...
Tesla played with varieties of electricity that come from the original theorems of James Clerk Maxwell, and so did Thomas Townsend Browne.
There's a lot we don't know but think we do. We have a tendency to equate being able to describe something and use it reliably with knowing what it is. Flame is another example - look into what it really is and eventually you run up against labels, not actual descriptions of something that tells us what it is.

It takes a bit of practice but setting something like walking through a door, or seeing your hand, or something else commonplace and telling yourself to ask yourself if you are in a dream when that happens can eventually become a trigger for Lucid.

I can lucid dream/astral project if they do the following .... first spend 10 to 15 days completely sober ..second fast at least two days at the end of that sobriety. next make a tea of the following herbs and make sure they are quality... kratom, kanna, blue lotus, kava kava, as well as the "dream herb" Calea Zacatechichi (believe it or not the calea z, is optional)
I wish i could explain all the incredibal profound experiences ive had with this method... it was like i had a complete secondary existense within dreamworld. . The adventures i had in that wonderland were better than anything in real life, better than any trip or drug experience. .. so enlightening so real. ..

Astral Projection is real. It is also very dangerous. Note: I do not do drugs and nor do I drink; guess I am square. I was NOT asleep dreaming. I opt not to tell (teach) or what I did when I was 14yo. My spirit / soul / essence sat completely up while my corporal body lay flat in the bed. There was a hell demon reptilian (maybe more behind it) PULLING and TUGGING at my spirit hands and arms to assist me to get up and telling me to come on! It was one of the scariest and most disturbing events in my life. These damned dimensional creatures were some of the ugliest and most terrifying things I have ever seen. I fought them and resisted by shaking my head and yelling NO, NO, NO. They released me and my spirit / soul / essence reunited with my corporal body again. I NEVER attempted this methodology again. Focus on the beauty in your city and in your neighborhood instead.
