Click the settings button on the top right of the page.
Then on the left under "My Settings" you will see an edit avatar feature. You can either upload it yourself or link it from another site.

hey welcome to bluelight. i always use plain-old, good-old Microsoft Paint to crop/shrink my avatars down to the required 150x150 pixels. if you have any more questions just ask right here. :)
