Ashwagandha

"especially if you're a consistent benzos user it is an absolute must for maintenance"

Sounds new whats the scientific reasoning behind it, besides Ashwaghanda being good overall.
Whats specific usefull concerning daily Benzo use, doing that nightly now. I know asking for problems,
working on it. Taking therapeutic doses btw not a monster habit like some members that end up on dosages
multiple times more then the first dose.

That was a good warning, dont feel a thing so raising the dose is a easy trap to fall in.

Kava Kava is illegal in the whole EU, they are aiming Kratom now. Signed a German petition to stoop it.
And l-Theanine so pricey in EU its not worth buying it.
I was just referring to it as an alternative so you don't as consistently pop better or more addictive chemicals ie benzodiazepines / barbiturates

I've cut my benzodice in half using ashwagandha

Always liked the trinity Ashwaghanda, Bacopa Monnierii [must be EKO and certified heavy metal free!]
And Tulsi/ Holy Basil/ Ocimum Tenuiflorum add some Gotu Kola/ Centella Asiatica. Last never tried,
But after a visit to a Ayurvedic therapist she said Ayurveda don t promote singular use of these herbs.
But use taylor made individual aimed combos. Which you dont take 24/7, They call it your current constitution.
And that also changes constant durin live.

But as its not officially accepted as medicin but alternative. So real treatment is for the rich only.
Its not like you get repeat check ups one session a year used to be covered, not anymore.
Although it predates our own medical [chemical] evolution, its not taken serious by mayority of western drs.

She gave me a Shirodara:

"Shirodhara is an ancient Ayurvedic therapy.
Warm oil (or other liquid) is poured in a continuous stream over the forehead or ‘ajna marma‘,
where nerves are highly concentrated.

The pressure of the oil onto the forehead creates a vibration.
The oil saturates the forehead and scalp and penetrates into the nervous system. "

Ime its bizar, started somewhat like an psychedelic trip ended in a state resembling a succefull meditation. ♎ Ohm
Felt good after, LONG. Hot small constant flow of hot Coconut [and/ or sometimes Ghee] infused with herbs,
she added Brahmi as i mentioned my interst in it.

Also cured my lower back pain, 1 treatment 20 years ago.
Imagine the same oil but then in a pool made of dough, on the spot on my lower spinal cord.
And that was the last time ever suffered more then a day, by my own fault making a stupid movement.
But the 3/ 7 day lastin periods of pain never came back till this day.
Physiotherapists nor drs, western, even touched the surface she cured in a hour or two. 🙏

Namaste

I absolutely agree with everything that you just said doctors are pussies and dismissive when it comes to herbs to help get your needs get met properly and naturally

Might you have the oppurtunity I def advice to have a Shirodara.
Besides the medical properties, it was a experience words cant really describe. Total peace.

Loss of Ego, body distouchment essentially at the end there was one thing left that feeling on the spot of the oil drop.
The place where the Pineal gland lies. It was extremely pleasant, and afterwards there was this glow that remained.
Maybe it faded gently, or its still there?

Ashwagandha: Is it helpful for stress, anxiety, or sleep?

Some cases of liver and thyroid problems, very small percentage though.
Well I can put it to you like this I've taken 10 g of before and I was completely fine got my liver check the next day just to make sure

But still yet everybody's different so thate could just be my good liver genetics 🤷‍♂️and the fact that I'm 22 years of age so obviously my liver has got less mileage on it

The EU reason Kava Kava got illegalized was liver problems.
Something that occured after 100/ 1000-ends years of use with no indication it harmed the liver.

Like Kratom same story, never actually got proved.
While we know Paracetamol or Alcohol are certain to damage the liver, but still are in use and legal.

You can get a liver check the day after Kava, I even got no liver checks [required according to the user manual]
While on Valproic Acid. But the Netherlands is essensially a 3-rd world country, unless your rich or king.

I know. =D I'm not rich either. It's literally a handful of people who got liver problems in the millions of people taking it, wouldn't worry too much about it, maybe not overdo it and take breaks every once in a while, or use liver protection stuff like milk thistle/nac/tudca or whatever.
