At the end of the day, you are who you are. The world doesn't revolve around sex, you are proof of that. Don't force yourself to pursue what doesn't interest you, but if you find something you like, then good for you. People also have asexual periods I think, we have a distance from sex at times in our lives, and aside from sex we have our work, our friends and familial relationships, and what we create and experience. With your pretty rare nature, you may even see the world in a way to your benefit, I find asexuality fascinating as well.
