Heroin Ascorbic acid?

In the UK needle exchange packets come with little sachets of ascorbic acid. My question: given that I don't cook my shots, is there any real benefit in dissolving ascorbic acid into one?

I'm pretty sure you need to alter the pH of the solution to allow the heroin to dissolve.

If the heroin is freebase, then yes you will. Tar certainly is... Powder white heroin probably is the HCl, so no extra acid needed.

This video explains it pretty well. You should really check it out. I think that a small amount will dissolve in a neutral pH, which is why you do feel some effects, but better effects when you add the acid to it.
