As a grenlighter, am I able to respond to threads?

I posted a reply to a thread, but my reply seems to have not show up. Sine I just registered today, do my posts need to be approved be someone before they will be viewable, or did I just do something wrong? Sorry if I'm asking a question that's been answered or covered elsewhere. I tried to read everything I could find regarding rules and restrictions first.

I looks like I need to click the reply to the post I want to respond to, not the larger "post reply" button?

If you wish to respond to a specific post in a thread then it's best to click the quote button on the bottom right of the post that you wish to respond to. If you want to just make a general reply then you can just go to the bottom of the page and type your response in the quick reply text box, and click 'post quick reply.'
