Arm wont budge

My fucking arms all fucking limp. Some dude came over yesterday with some k, i sniffed a load and can't remember much of the night except I'm pretty certain it was a very negative experience which ended up with me calling for my mummy. Anyhow I'm still coming down from this terrible k-whole and my arms all limp and has been since I came to. Why the fuck is my arm not doing what I tell it to?
I'm seriously cheeved, I can barely even lift it. Could I have had a stroke or sumthing?
 
You probably just laid on your arm during the night and numbed it a little.

I'd have second thoughts about going to ER and exposing the fact that you take illegal drugs. That'll go down on your medical record for the rest of your life. It's not something to do lightly.
 
ok. I've got a feeling this shit wasn't ketamine. The guy left a load of empty packets that the stuff came in. He got it from a headshop. Get this, it has the kellogs symbol on it. This shit comes in 200mg packs. I sniffed a - k-whole (if ketamine) worthy line - of it and i've got a feeling it maybe methoxetamine or something similar in the research chemical market. I've never taken methoxetamine and I was pretty pissed. probably sniffed 200mg. what are the implications?
 
It's likely methoxetamine ("Special K" brand "powders"). No more harmful than ketamine, just longer lasting.

As for your arm, you probably passed out and got lover's arm. Stretch it out and feeling will return in a few days to a week at worst.
 
It's not lovers arm. actually feels numb and heavy like when you are in a hole, even though i'm not anymore and it's just one arm.. which is weird. As long as it's nothing to worry about. Now all I have to worry about are the implications of last night's near death holy fucking terrifying experience.
 
Not overly.

I can move it up to my elbow, but I can't raise with the top half. It feels very week and as though I've lost all coordination with the nerves there. I'm worried I've done some damage to my brain that is making me unable to lift my arm.
 
I'd give it a day or so, a night's sleep can often help these kinds of things. If it hasn't gotten any better by tomorrow, I'd suggest seeing a medical professional.
 
i woke up after a nap today and both my leg and arm were dead on one side was shit
 
I went to the hospital. After everyone looking a bit confused and the nurse inviting her colleagues to ponder my strange problem, she told me that she thinks I may have torn a muscle but I should be feeling pain - if not numbness - and I aint. They all thought it was odd and I'm still kinda worried.
 
So nothing was done? Honestly I cant imagine what it could have had to do with the K, it's certainly not a "known side effect", and I have no idea why it's still being discussed on the Psychedelic Drugs group. Seek whatever medical intervention you need, but this is not a chatline for people to get random advice from distant strangers about miscellaneous medical issues just because they tripped recently, so IMO this needs to be closed.
 
Why are you here bitching about this random medical problem you should be seeing a doctor about, trying to get people who are not physicians to give you some kind of free medical advice about an issue they cannot possibly examine you for or give you any valid advice over? Go see a proper doctor for an appropriate exam/xray/MRI whatever. I dont see why you are here and what kind of help you are expecting to get. If it is a real problem delaying and hoping someone here can perform some magical diagnosis from afar is just risking allowing any real issue to get worse.

We don't take kindly to hurling insults here, it accomplishes nothing and diminishes the quality of our board.

I think at first the question was fine, losing limb function for a while after holing/nodding/carping out in a bad position is something that happens with some frequency, but there are times when it causes serious issues, and times where the issue might be not entirely related. That said, at this point yeah it's best left in the hand of the professionals, we can't really help. I'm leaving it open because I'd like to see how the issue is resolved, it may be instructive. If this was related and some semi-permanent damage done, it's info we definitely want to know.

Junior, are you going to go back in for some proper diagnostic testing? Try to arrange it if you can.

I thought dwaynes comment was unnecessary is all. Yes, i'm going in tomorrow morning, I'll keep an update as long as noone get's to offended with such outlandish behavior.
