I know the moments when your palms are supporting the sides of your face, when it is still slipping downward into the darkness. Your mind barely treading water, because you feel like you know too much. If only you'd been allowed to continue living your life as one of the unassuming millions, perhaps you wouldn't have been so confidently tip-toeing the line of genius versus insanity just a moment ago. Now struggling against the current and staring bold-faced into the undertow of madness - wild eyed and a child of chaos, you think it already mirrors your own image.
