It is just like when someone has to sleep. It's like re-energizing. That is just a basic observation. It gets more involved after that. The brain connections.
Where experience and understanding meet. Knowledge can be power of understanding that can help. Sobriety is definitely a perspective too. Nice.

this is not really proven case and most likely just bullshit, people have made very hasty conclusions from very vague data and legend has born.
Which makes sense because the tetradoxin apparently has not any activity that should render it recreational, and while there is maybe little wiggle room, lets go back to the data which does not really imply that would be the case.

Because rich and middle class people definitely don’t take drugs at all.

I’m not sure how to feel that society generally think that the only people that use drugs live in tents and have face tats.

It definitely makes it easier to get away with having drugs on you when you look like a white middle class church goer. I guess societies general ignorance and misconception on what a drug user looks like is a positive in this regard.

Definitely makes it easier to get prescriptions from
Doctors too if you don’t look like said "homeless hippy" since they all have that drug addict stereotype wired into their brain too

I’ve seen the same thing on nature shows but it wasn’t puffer it was about a certain type of sea snail in a shell they get off on and also squid ink allegedly has some narcotic effect.

Regardless we know from controlled experiments that mammals will self administer cocaine until they die from it.
 
apparently these cases have been very isolated incidents without regularity as far as I know and could be also reverted to dolphins being sadistic assholes, no one has ever came up with any reliable proof but I am happy to be pointed out wrong

But yes animals get high all the time

he got his calendar wrong (happens when you do a lot of different drugs), realized they should be in field in few hours after dropping, got helicopter delivery high on stuff and came to make history just on time.

But be it nicotine/pituri, cocaine, caffeine, khat, cannabis, magic mushrooms, opium, alcohol, DMT.... EVERY culture found them and used them. It seems inherent within all of the higher species. Dolphins get high off puffer fish, elephants will drink alcohol (without induction) and raindeer eat mushrooms they KNOW will make them trip. If one individual discovers it, they all seem to learn.

Many creatures simply appear to enjoy the experience of an altered consciousness. And yes some Inuit tribes are the only humans known to not have used intoxicants, but that was basically because there was nothing in their natural environment that yielded any.
