Are you attacted to mates outside of your race?

I think mulatto skin is beautiful. My friend's grandfather was black and her parents were white (and of course 1 was half black) and she had beautiful long, thick black hair and her skin was flawless and tan.

natalie dormer, her face and colour, when she was in the movie Cassanova, is the most attractive I have ever seen.

I am married to a one quarter aboriginal three quarters white, girl.

Taking someone's subjective aesthetic preference and telling they are wrong about what they do or do not like. LOLWUT?

She approached his idea wrong, but I share her sentiments. There is a way to express racial-romantic preference (or lack thereof) without sounding as harsh as FinalRest. Im sure that's what set stayfaded off.

MyFinalRest: I take it you are not American?
I'll take that as a compliment, but I'm unfortunately American.

I'm not sure where you are from, but "mulatto" is not a common way to refer to someone biracial in the US. It's quite antiquated....like calling a full black person "Negro" or "Colored." It's not racist; just a little out of date. Well, at least where I live. :) Is it common where you are from? I'm not being bitchy, I'm seriously interested.

I agree with you. It's totally an "out-of-date" word, but never carried the same perjorative derogatory-ness that words like "mongrel" or "nigger"(sorry, just using an example). I have seen it in American History textbooks and the only time I recall it being used in common culture was...lol...in a dildo ad in a Hustler magazine. The ad was for these realistic looking dildos and they came in three colors: black, white, and mulatto.

But no, people say "mixed" around here. Although "mixed" is a very vague term, here it tends to exclusively refer to mixed Euro-American and African-American heritage. Apparently Lysis is the only person going around these days saying mulatto lol. She's an old-fashioned Southern gal I suppose.

i am a white (euro background) woman from australia and i have had long term relationships with Philipino, sri lankan & dutch, chinese and white men. Its the person i fall in love with, not the race.

And to MyFinalRest wtf??? Black girls hair turns you off wow give me a fucking break. Most of the time black girls manage to get their hair done. Even my naturally curled hair is usually always straighten and you can't tell the difference of it. Also the black girls who don't take care of their hair is a whole other story...

Apparently Black girls hate their own hair too.

No I like it curly too but I rather straighten it when I can cause its easier to deal with. Hair is hair though.... Many who have curly hair want straight and many who have straight hair want curly. I can't even state how many times white girls told me they wanted my hair or loved it. They always complain about not being able to do much with theirs.

Sorry, been busy and haven't been able to respond.

I wasn't aware of the whole "mulatto" thing either until my friend, who is biracial (African American and caucasian) told me about it.

If you go to the same wiki page someone already cited and read further, it talks about the term originally referring to "mules" being half donkey, half horse. Hence term "MULatto." So essentially, it is kind of negative in that it compares this specific group of biracial people to farm animals.

Like the OP said, it is outdated. Even though some may choose to call themselves mulatto, that's their decision. I'm half Mexican and my grandfather (who is legal) used to call himelf a wetback. He was alright with it, but I would never use that word to refer to Hispanics.

I'm white, I've only ever dated two guys and they were both white. I hardly met anyone besides white people until I left my hometown for uni at age 17. Where I grew up - soooo white. Never had anyone else in the area. Anyway, so my first bf pretty much "had to be" white cuz there were no other options anyway.
My second (current) bf, he's white too :p
There is this one guy though, who I know, he is ridiculously good looking. If I wasn't with my bf, I would be all over this guy. Hands down the best looking guy I've ever seen. He's brown-ish. I don't really know what race he is. He's not black or white, he's in between, lol.
I tend to be less attracted to Asians. I just don't find them physically attractive the same way. I'm mostly attracted to white guys or the same race as that other guy.

My first real boyfriend was Afghani (lol) and I do find some races/mixes to be quite exotic....latino men (& also the women) can be fairly striking 8o and the same goes for certain northern european men & even french canadians; I do like tanned skin and always preferred dark features in my youth; yet I've dated predominantly caucasians of mostly european descent (my half danish, half aussie fiance is fairer than me - I'm part scandinavian, part italian)....it just turned out that way, I guess I felt I could always relate to men who are from a somewhat similar ethnicity background (though I've never really been into full on mediterranean men, prefer a mix such as myself) - I found that dating someone with Arabic cultural ties made me feel too inherently different to understand or appreciate them, either in terms of language or personal beliefs, and being cut from a drastically different kind of 'cloth' is what ultimately led me to end the relationship, despite being drawn to such polarities in the first place.

I am a New Zealander who dates an Australian and I have to take her home in a few weeks to meet my family. I don't know how they are going to take it to be honest :(

At least we recently beat them in the cricket so there is less chance they will cannibalise her.

I think there are beautiful women of every ethnicity, however I definitely prefer some over others. I think white women are the hottest overall, but I definitely dont mind Asians, Mexicans, and milk chocolate black chicks. Middle eastern and straight out of Africa girls are at the bottom of the totem pole of hotness, but can still be hot IMO.

One of my ex GF's is half white half Iranian and she is smokin.

I'm a white male and I find attractive females of all races very appealing. I had a discussion about this with a friend the other day. Some races have features that I consider generally (though not always) unattractive ex. curly hair, too much/not enough curve etc. but I've seen at least one girl from every race I find extremely attractive. Generally speaking, thinking of only the most attractive women of the race that come to mind based on purely sexual and physical characteristics I'd pick Indian>Black>Asian>Latina>White. I wouldn't hesitate to date a white woman either, I just find darker women very appealing.

Anyone here like fuckin hotentots?

No not hot tots, hotentots a desert adapted tribe of Africa.

The men have a real bone in their penises and are continuously erect.

The women's vag flaps hang to their knees, during a the sandstorms they tie the flaps together to keep out the sand.
The woman's arses stick straight out backwards, in a form of camel hump full of nutritious fat for the lean times.

I know this sounds like a joke if you haven't heard of the hottentot people's, but it's totally true.

I might like it all.

Midgets and dwarfs need not apply. Although! acceptions can be made for dwarfs with smaller hands.

See its the stumpy sausage fingers of midgets that turn me off to be honest. That and despite what total recall told me, most do not have three boobs.
