Of course online all you guys are. But what about offline? In RL?

For example if you hear one of your buddies talking about these good quadruple stacks they got......or the <insert random pill> has mescaline.....

Would you correct them? What if they were strangers?
(These are RL examples...I'm not shitting you. The past week, I've been hearing the most crazy things.)




Personally, no. I don't like sounding like a smart person or telling someone they're wrong...especially if I can't prove it on the spot.


And pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee don't move this to some random place I totally never go. This is more for the ED people and discussions.

Depends on the situation. If someone has a pill in their hand and they are talking about it, then sure I feel kind of obligated to inform them of what I can and encourage them to educate themselves further. If I overhear someone at church or my job saying something stupid I generally keep to myself because correcting them would really serve no purpose but to bring unnecessary attention to myself.

So many people are misinformed about ecstasy it's unbelievable. I've come to realize that there's some who are open to opinions or facts while others completely refuse to believe anything that's told to them. I always do my best to clear shit up though because I'm tired of hearing how someone died from a pill that was the 'last of the batch' or laced with 'PCP'. /facepalm

generally, if they are so misinformed that they think there is mesc in their pills, i dont try to correct them. There usually to ignorant to believe others anyway.

I don't usually do this, but if someone starts having a go at me for taking X because its like the most dangerous thing in the world etc etc I usually correct them :-/

It's funny, i've pulled up the scientific evidence to show people that they're wrong and they still don't believe me half the time.

What sad is how many people are so hooked on it and they don't even know what the fuck it is haha.

All of my mates that do pills are educated in them. The ones that don't do them, they are smart enough not question me about them in a negative way because they know how much I know about them .

Most of my friends see me as their "go to guy" when they need to know something, not just drugs but other things too.
Some people, however, refuse to learn and are perfectly content with their ignorance.

People I know well generally look up info for themselves, or will ask me about it before doing something.

With random people, I'll frequently say something. Sometimes I won't if its obvious its going to be a point of contention or cause some hard feelings... some people have a set belief and just won't listen no matter what. If its dangerous, I will bring it up even if it gets someone pissed off at me.

I've had very heated discussions about this topic. Somehow my friends that are hopelessly addicted to alcohol and cigarettes felt they needed to save me from the evils of ecstasy.

I pointed out that moderate ecstasy use is far less likely to cause health problems or kill me than either of their drugs of choice but they refused to see it that way. We dont discuss the issue anymore.

And yea ill correct the random retard that says his pills have acid or mesc in them, but they dont listen either. You have to be willing to learn in order to learn, and most people arent.

Some people just refuse to budge at all from their ideas about Ecstasy.

These people are called IDIOTS. They just have these ideas stuck in their head and are too ignorant to even slightly question them.

So, with these people I usually do not bother. These type of people usually (not always of couse) are idiots in other parts of life too, so its not even worth trying to convince them...And will usually do yourself more harm than good (Yo, look at this here fool! On the other end of the spectrum, its good when you educate someone who is willing to listen. I made a bunch of my mates who usually are a bit reckless get to know what MDMA Was instead of just taking pills, and eradicating all the myths around it. They are now pretty well informed.

If the person making the stupid comment is a friend of mine, then I will always correct them. If I don't consider them a friend I usually won't say anything, since I don't want to seem like an asshole or anything.
